LA Trying To Land ComicCon

Post by StarBrand »

Sorry if this is already being discussed elsewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. It's become all about the money, not comics.
We could use a good National comic book convention that focused on comics.

I would sooooooooo love SDCC to be in Ana-crime. That would be GREAT!

Nope.

I can't imagine a scenario that would get me to go to LA. I like San Diego quite a bit but I don't want to go to LA ever in my life. I hate big cities to begin with and LA has a reputation of being basically a third-world country.

But Ana-crime is not LA. It the OC. Fully different.

I agree. Ana-crime is solid.

Agree, personally I think San Diego can keep the entertainment con and another town takes over the comic con.

Good idea. While they're at it, they should get honest and change the name of the current one to Entertainment Con.

Nope. If it's north of Oceanside it's LA.

And everything about LA sucks!

Except you, Christian. You rock.

Ah. Since the nickname involved the word "crime", I assumed it was within contiguous Los Angeles. If we were talking about a town in Michigan with a similar monicker, I'd assume Detroit.

These are the lessons I learn from television.

Oh right. But isn't Burbank their own state or something?
