Combatting New EBAY Changes - SELLERS UNITE!
This post is for those that sell on Ebay. Due to the recent Ebay feedback policy change, I think we need to start communicating more with each other in terms of experiencing bad buyers that leave negatives for foul reasons. Normally I use the block bidders list very lightly, but it seems I have no choice now but to use it as my only resource to protect our reputation. If possible, can a mod make this post a sticky? To all sellers, please post the ebay handles of buyers that left you an unfair negative comment and the story behind it. At the moment, this is our only recourse unless Ebay chooses to reverse their policy or implement something else to protect sellers.

Trust me, I would love to move my operations over to another site then continue with Ebay. I've done research on a whole bunch of other auction sites and none of them comes close to getting the type of traffic Ebay gets. Amazon is really the 2nd runners up in traffic base, but I don't see comics selling well over there. If I sold anything but comics, I would have moved over to Amazon a long time ago.Fanboy375 wrote:Or just get enough people to goto Ryan's auction site. LOL

You can complain about ebay all you want, there's not gonna be anyone trumping them any time soon. eBay is now a house hold name. its the same thing as people moving to Linux to avoid MS Windows, yeah theres a small army of people doing it, but the masses know what they know and use what they know. PEOPLE HATE CHANGE!!
if my grandma knows of eBay, you know its popular!

That's exactly what I'm doing...getting around their changes. As said in my previous thread, Ebay still has the most traffic in terms of online auction site and I don't see any other alternatives to move my store to. That's the reason why I'm asking all sellers to band together to filter out the bad buyers.Squirrel wrote:You can complain about ebay all you want, there's not gonna be anyone trumping them any time soon. eBay is now a house hold name. its the same thing as people moving to Linux to avoid MS Windows, yeah theres a small army of people doing it, but the masses know what they know and use what they know.
