I grew up in Columbus Nebraska and Sioux City IA, so I've made tons of trips to Omaha and have family there.

My greatest childhood comics memories were trips to Cosmic Comics in Omaha when we lived in Columbus that had no shops of its own. That was before I got into Valiant though. I live in Chicago now, but I still think of comics whenever I'm in Omaha.

Welcome to the boards!
Another Nebraskan, nice!
I haven't been to Omaha lately but I have always make the rounds whenever I am there.
Nice to hear ya got some nice books on the cheap!
Back in the day, I remember seeing my first Valiant Pre-Unity Solar books
on display at the Antiquarium in the Old Market.
I can honestly say it changed my life forever! :)

I can imagine! I had gotten a TON of Pre-Unity stuff from Daydreams back in like 2001 and actually spoke with him a few days ago. :thumb:
I'm hoping so of the dealers from out of state will be bringing Valiant books with them to this show next weekend. :!:

A reference to Shadowman Volume 3 #2 Variant, "The Good, Bad, and Very Ugly" (Good-Bad-Ugly, GBU)
http://www.valiantcomics.com/valiant/issue.asp?cn=612

A valuable book, price is very volatile, print run is likely 1,000 or less...
but sometimes found in clueless comic dealer longboxes...
who sell it for cover price ($2.50) or LESS! :thumb:

High grade copies could break $200 easily on eBay.
