Granted, there's nothing cerebral or very memorable to the stories/characters (except for the outlandish costumes and the 90's GRIT), but I still dig 'em

I have been digging the various liefeld stuff outta the cheap bins the past few years. And discovered that while they aren't great comics,for 10 cents each they are fun quick reads.

3.Defenders-the original 152 issue plus annuals run. Still one of my favorite comics of all time
2.Hate-30 issues of some of the funniest stuff i have ever read
1.Squadron Supreme-the 12 issue mini,to me this is better than Watchmen and one of the great unsung books of all time.

Never read any of these. I'll have to track them down, if possible.

You should track down Doom's 4 by Rob Liefeld as well, Dr. Solar. A+ read!!! And I don't get the connection to the Fantastic Four? (what...two different teams can't have a fire-based person, an invisible person, a "rocky" person, with one team that has a stretch-o, while the other has a Cable-knock-off?). I know...a Liefeld property with a Cable knock-off is un-heard of... *

WAY overdue to the party - but starting at the beginning. Episode 1. Just finished. Interesting - especially when you guys are chatting up the first issues of Valiant coming out.

I kept sliding to current time - then remembering it was JUST a bit older.

Put all of the books onto a listening device - and will be catching up.

I was curious, I left Valiant when Acclaim took them over. I know I missed a bit. Do you guys discuss the Acclaim era of Valiant, the good and the bad, in a podcast? If so, which one?

I don't think we have ever had an Acclaim podcast. It may happen down the line but we have a lot of ideas we are mining right now.

We did record another episode on Monday night and it should be out soon.
