Trinity Angels revival a joke right?
Not that I have anything against the series, but Trinity Angels and Valiant Comics drew a mention from the latest Lying in the Gutters posted today.

In your opinions was this simply a joke? Was it a joke meant to direct readers to the site? Or has there actually been some mention of a Trinity Angels revival?
A url linking to the Trinity Angels page from VEI's site was included.THREE OF A KIND
We already have “Trinity" from DC and “Broken Trinity" from Top Cow this Summer. And now Valiant Comics are bringing back Trinity Angels.
A trinity of trinities.

I don't remember if there was an alterna-media proposal for TA during the VH-2 days. The book didn't do much for me, so I've forgotten most of it.
I'd imagine that VEI would be open to working on the property if there was enough interest. Paris, Lindasy & Britney as the Trinity Angels? Hey, Drew Barrymore got CHARLIE'S ANGELS made on less than that...

I'm thinking the highlighted sentence...T.A. was NOT good and I can't believe a revival would go any better...Geomancer wrote:Not that I have anything against the series, but Trinity Angels and Valiant Comics drew a mention from the latest Lying in the Gutters posted today.

He's using a summary of the 12 issue series to claim that a new series is forthcoming.
By his logic, every summary on the site means the same thing, that VEI plans to do new Bad Eggs comics, new Outcast comics, new Ninjak comics, new XO comics, new Unity comics, new Chaos Effect comics, etc, etc, etc.
Sometimes a summary is just a summary.

Rich is definitely British (translation = he must have been drunk when he read the summaries).
Of all the pages on the wiki to benefit from increased traffic, it had to be TA??![]()

I thought it was highly unlikely Trinity Angels would be a property VEI should choose to move forward with, especially at this time and am glad there was no other basis for this that I missed.
I can't 100% rule anything out yet because we haven't heard a more detailed outline of the company's vision.
I honestly never read this series - so i can't say anything specific about it.
Hopefully the Lying in the Gutters article steered comics readers to VEI's site and they started browsing it. If we got any new members or Valiant fans out of it, then that would be outstanding.

Sweet!
Think they'll release a hardcover?
