For obvious reasons I can see why you're selling them together but it sure would be nice to get a shot at the Rai 5 cover. Goodness what do you figure it's worth?
Any way you cut it my wife is thankful I don't have 13k handy.
Hope the family and everything is ok mang. Would hate to see these moved outside our VC.Com World due to some RL unfortuneate circumstances.

I hope everything is ok with him. It almost seems like an "emergency" sale. Has anyone talked with him recently?

Re: Ron Hillman's original art collection... on Ebay?
Thanks all for the concern but no emergency here. Due to events in the past year I have been forced to change some priorities to the following #1) Wife's health, #2) baby on way at the end of October, #3) Valiant, and finally #4) everything else.
So, I have decided to sell my Valiant Color Art collection - all 3000+ pages of it. I would like to sell it in one lot to try and keep it together and hopefully it would go to a fellow forum member.

Hey Ron (hillmanthe2nd)
Our thoughts are with you over here too (Like you said Family first!).
For those on the boards who don't know what a good guy Ron is let me tell you a story why.
A while back I won a couple of auctions from Ron (Solar 10 1st and 2nd Prints). There was a little mix up with the Solar 10 1st print so shipping was delayed for a while. However, due to the delay: 1) Ron didn't charge me for the Solar 10 2nd print, and 2) both 1st and 2nd prints shipped with the following bonus materials: Rai 1, Magnus Pred Plat 1, original Geomancer issue 1 art, and X-O #5 cover repoduction art.
The bonus material alone was worth a lot more than original auctions (I would have been happy with just stuff i won, which combined didn't cost more than $20). Just his actions alone speaks volumes for what a good person he is. I'm sure most of you already know Ron is a good guy, but I thought I'd let others (who don't) know.
Take care Ron,
Chuck (ebay id anime_comics)

I really hope things go well for your wife. I know how stressful it can be. My mother has been having alot of medical problems recently and it is always hard to see a loved one in pain.hillmanthe2nd wrote:Thanks all for the concern but no emergency here.
