Personally, my least favorite issue of the Visitor. V man does get to show off his powers some more by trying to disarm bombs in different schools around the city, but the story is nothing compared to vis vs val and vis #1 and #2. the shady bad guy comes out of nowhere and we're supposed to look at him like he's dangerous

lesbians, racism, and not having a cool bad guy = 1/5

A "so what"-issue. Had suited better as a Superman-issue. But rather boring. Could have had some kind of message if the Visitor had not managed to save everybody, but everything turned out for the best. Still can't diss it too much. It has good art and from most other publishers it would have been a good issue.

PS, note the detention list on the cover.

PPS, I have a slight memory that the kids are Valiant's editors. Or maybe I'm mixing up.

In general agreement here, the issue did not really add to the story. There was talk at the time about how long the Visitor series was intended to last and it is possible that this was part of another story arc that didn't get written. Then again, I hated MIB- they really didn't fit in with everything else that we knew as Valiant. (So even though that story arc did get written, I'm not so sure I'm happy it did.)
