Best Non-major character in the valiant Universe

Post by caxiotis »

Well boys/girls this is the first discussion that I have ever hosted or decided to host, but I was just thinking that I am having too much fun with the "what if" discussion and the "worst character in valiant universe" discussion, that we need a best non-major character from the valiant universe discussion. Non-major characters do not include anybody that had their own monthly series. So no Magnus, Solar, Shadowman, etc. Also, let’s not use other major players like Dr. Eclipse, Ken Clarkson, Master Darque, etc. Elvis from X-O Manowar #0 would be acceptable. Rexo from Harbinger and X-O Manowar would be acceptable (even though I don't why anyone would think that he was great). Ax from Harbinger, X-O Manowar, and Bloodshot would be acceptable. You guys get the gist so lets play with this one.

I will start. The chick that Aric was banging in X-O Manowar #8 before the Bi-nosaur ate him (wounded him). She was mighty hot. I think that maybe a Bi-nosaur attack was worth the hassle for that piece of …………..

I dunno...I'd consider Ax a pretty major player.

Screen from Harbinger is one of my favorite characters in the valiant universe. great characterization, great motivation, and I was pretty *SQUEE* when they killed him off.

While I liked Bloodshot's negative Rampage, Sven will probably win this one hands down.

The only reason I was not a major character is that the sumbeeyotches were afraid to write me that way.

Any man says different, I would just bust yo *SQUEE* in the mouth anyway.

Sandria Darque, I felt that she had the potential to be a really bad villianess but they never used her to her potential. Don't Master Darque and her have the same powers and they are linked together?

Sosa, biggest waste of a character in the entire Val. uni. Great potential as a major bad guy.

This may seem odd.........Fred Bender. Always felt it was a big mistake turning him into Eclipse. He could have been a real world PITA for Phil Seleski but I believe he only appeared in 3(?) issues before being turned.

Bender and Sandria Darque... Bender is WAY out there and I think by him being a nutzoid kept him from his full potential and Sandria because I saw her as a counter to Darques powers. She could have been a great ally in a conflict against Master Darque.

I consider the Immortal Enemy major but then again...what were the percentage of actual Valiant books he was in? Pretty low. He/it had the potential to be major player he/it was a great creation.

Sandria there's so much they could have done with that character. Perhaps, the new Valiant could do some stories with her;)

I would consider the Immortal Enemy a MAJOR character to the Eternal Warrior and were among my most favorite stories.

That is one thing that I really liked about Valiant, there was always a good guy to counter a bad guy (but then again, good guys always win). IM is a character that you KNEW was always going to show up and it would be an awesome story.... maybe I am just nostalgic but I am really missing those old stories. I read Valiant back in the day but not every title at first, then it was everything up until Chaos Effect... so there are still some stories out there that I have not read. Today might be a good day to do that. :hm:

Right after I get some 'stuff' mailed out.

I agree. Moreso than Darque, IE was Gils main villian. He/it could have been an incredibly important cog in the Valiant universe. I also liked the movie Fallen with Denzel Washington so I was already a fan of the concept. Sadly I think its less than 10 total books he's in (I can only think of 3 but I figure it has to be north of 5 books that he is in)
