Cast The Harbinger Movie

Post by ManofTheAtom »

Title's self explanatory :)

The only guideline is this:

Use the first eight issues of the comic book series (issues 0 through 7, the arc known as "Children of the Eight Day") as the plot for a Harbinger TV movie (think 6 hr mini series to fit the whole thing). That should give you an idea of which characters to use.

Obviously you can skip over using characters like Solar, which means compressing the story as much as possible to ignore the stuff that isn't relevant, mainly issue 5.

So, of today's actors (both from TV and film), which ones do you see as playing Harada, Sting, Flamingo, Kris, Torque, Faith, Ax, and the others?

On a similar note I was thinking about if there was a decent Valiant video game. I was thinking on the lines of like an X-Men legends style game. Switch out characters. Go around finding new characters. If they made a game like that I would buy it.

So I don't really know any "kid actors".....

I don't watch any of those MTV shows like Laguna Beach or The Hills, but probably some peeps from there. But I don't know any of them.

Or maybe some Disney actors....

Cool topic, but I can't play.

Ken Watanabe is just a fantastic actor anyways, and yeah I think he would be perfect for Toyo.

His role in Batman Begins as the fake Ras Al Ghul and especially his role in 'The Last Samurai' (ignoring Tom Cruise in that movie altogether)

The others, except I think Niki Blonsky would be perfect for Zephyr, were just names that came to mind at the time.

Good choice.
I think James Shigeta (Die Hard) would have been a great choice (20 years ago).
