I'm addicted to DU books. I almost never pick up any modern comic books.Knightt wrote:Hmmm official... I guess someone who actively collects any of the DU books on the lists within this section. Ultraverse also, don't know how I forgot that one, it's probably second behind Valiant.J-Scott-R wrote: Can you add me to the list, the only new books I am still reading are Y The Last Man(only a few more to go) and Fables, I'm all DU's after that. I am still trying to finish my Valiant collection, but also big into Defiant, Tekno, Atlas, Continuity, First, and Crossgen.

Ask Knightt if the LCS we just went to had any of these, if they did, I will go and get some for you.Chiclo wrote:Guys, I'm feeling that twitch again.
Anyone know where I can pick up some cheap Continuity or Eclipse comics?
I don't really know what was there, but there was a bunch of independent stuff. Knightt would know.
Lots of cheap Eclipse (stuff I had never even heard of before), not sooooo many Continuity, 20 issues or so... I mean at $.20 cents a piece that like $1.14 or something like that right ? (and they said algebra would one day save my life, chuh)Elveen wrote:Ask Knightt if the LCS we just went to had any of these, if they did, I will go and get some for you.Chiclo wrote:Guys, I'm feeling that twitch again.

C-lo, you want to send me a list, or should I just get you some random stuff?
LMK.

I'm a DU junkie. I use to like collecting from a new company from their infancy, from their first book than watch them bloom, so I can say I was there from the "beginning". Others I thought were going to be the next Marvel. I remember telling my comic shop owner that some Topps comics "Bombastic 1" was going to be HOT because it was the first Image inter-company crossover featuring Savage Dragon. (I bought 3 copies.) But what did I know? That’s why I'm not into stock. Finally, some others I just wait till that company stops printing and I try to get all there books for a quarter each. Knocking out a companies whole catalog for a mere $4.75 plus tax.
At any rate. to name a few I have: Triumphant, Lighting, Continuity, Atlas/Seaboard, Defiant, Broadway Comics, the list goes on and on. I used to think I completed everything from each universe until I read each companies issue list. Which sucks.........now I find out that Vicki from Atlas had a 4th issue, Valeria #1 had some variants, a white cover......AND a White w/Gold Foil!!! There were newsstand Continuity variants!! NecroMantra 4 had a limited edition!!!! Broadway had a give away book??? I guess I wasn't finished collecting DU books after all.......and here I thought I was done with them a few years ago. It’s like finding out there’s an episode of your favorite show that you’ve never knew existed but you have no way of finding a copy to watch.
