Re-Reading: X-O Manowar #67
I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do
For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.
Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.

Mystery man comes back and brings a mystery issue. Nice art at least. The setup from last issue was quickly dismissed, together with several previous issues, in a "Bobby in the shower"-moment. Or was it?

I fished this issue out of a fifty cent bin. The scene with Crescendo (dumbest villian name ever) showed promise. Unfortunately two "waking up from a dream we thought was reality" sequences later I no longer care. I need some idea where the story is going if I'm going to care about it.
Atleast Butch Guice's art finally looks decent on a Valiant book (probably the fault of past inkers). Unfortunately that's a really bad T-Rex he drew (though it's still not the worst looking T-Rex they published
)
A 5.
