Harbinger and Turok cover art available
I'm making my cover art available. I will soon follow with interior art pages. You may contact my agent Marilyn Howard at creative@freelancers.com. If you're interested tell her I sent you.
I tried to contact all the people who had expressed interest in buying my art directly. I apologize if you didn't get an e-mail. My list was incomplete, because I've moved and couldn't locate all my files.
This is what's currently available.
Deathmate promo art - Howard Simpson pencils and Gonzalo Mayo inks
Harbinger 20 - Howard Simpson pencils and Kevin Nowlan inks
Harbinger 23 - Howard Simpson pencils and Joe Rubinstein inks
Harbinger 24 - Howard Simpson pencils and Joe Rubinstein inks
Harbinger 25 - Howard Simpson pencils and Kevin Nowlan inks
Turok 17 - Howard Simpson pencils and Randy Elliott inks
Turok 18 - Howard Simpson unpublished cover pencil art
Turok 20 - Howard Simpson pencils and Randy Elliott inks
All art is on an 11" x 17" (or slightly larger) sheet of 2-ply bristol; it's very clean with a minimal amount of whiteout or other corrections (if any).
Look for an annoucement soon about interior pages.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Prices?
You're going to have to talk to Marilyn about that. She's considering putting them on E-bay.brianlock wrote:Are there prices for these pieces that you are looking for?
I was always too lazy to do that.

If covers by Lapham, and from earlier issues (including the dbl Magnus/Rai issues), go for $1500, how reasonable do these prices seem?Daniel Jackson wrote:Ditto. I really can't see anyone scrambling to get them at those prices.daydreamscomics wrote:sonicdan wrote:via email....

New and better situation to come
I wanted to stay out of this, but in light of recent events, I'm temporarily stepping back in.
Marilyn wanted to do this on her own. However, there have been more bidders than can be effectively addressed.
I've asked her to reconsider using E-bay for the bidding, so that the art will available at fair market value.
So there will be a temporary hold until she sets this up.
I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. I want everyone to have a fair shot at getting the art. I would never try to gouge anyone.
Nor would Marilyn. She's from outside the comic marketplace and there's a different view of the value of art in general there.

In those cases we're talking about key Valiant issues. It's not an exact science though, just depends on how badly someone wants the particular piece.brianlock wrote:If covers by Lapham, and from earlier issues (including the dbl Magnus/Rai issues), go for $1500, how reasonable do these prices seem?Daniel Jackson wrote:Ditto.
