Please excuse...
I mean, 'BOO-YAA'
Ya know, I love to play 'Reversi' on the computer... years ago on my Amiga computer, I finally found a free version but it had naked chicks underneath, I didnt think nothing of it, I liked the game (chicks were just a bonus). Well my ex-wife comes in and is just DISGUSTED by the whole thing. Thinking back, I just have to shake my head and think, 'good deal, dead weight is no longer there, good she is gone.'
But you see, back then I BROKE a common SF rule... the rule being that 'never marry any woman that is not three hole qualified'.
How wise have I become, yes.
Anybody know of any good Reversi games out there ? Free versions are always cool.

One of the best titles for the Wii, IMO.Elveen wrote:One of our neighbors is on vacation for a few weeks, so he left me his wii games.
There are some for the girls, dance party something.....
But there is also: Super Mario Galaxy, Lego Start wars (all in one), and Kung-fu panda.
Right now I am playing Super Mario Galaxy. What a fun, fun game.
I made the mistake of letting my younger brother take it home and play it ( I had already beat the game)......that was three months ago and now it's made it's way to another one of my brothers. I suppose I'll have to break down and buy another copy sometime.

I borrowed the Ninja Gaiden DS game from a friend, as he said it was a must play. It's fairly easy but I'm stuck on one boss, who just requires a style of fighting completely different from any other enemy I've had to face in the game yet. I must have tried to beat it 30 times last night before giving up. (for reference, the boss at the end of Chapter 11)
I hate it when game makers do that. Give you a game that's semi-challenging, but not so hard you die every other minute. Then throw that one boss in there that's almost impossible to get past.

I picked up Tomb Raider Anniversary at a Game Stop while Christmas shopping and have been playing it for the last couple of days. I really like the job they did adapting to the Wii controller for the game. All in all this game is more challenging than Underworld and there are a few spots that can get a little aggravating to reach.
Just going by what I've played of it so far, I think it's going to take me longer to beat this one.

Me ? Started playing Rise of the Argonauts last night. Jumpy graphics that smooth out later and so far 'a lot' of discussions that require 'decision' which affects your good or bad standings with 'the gods'. I'd like a bit more fighting... graphics ARE nice though, I just don't like walking around a corner where there are more characters and have the system get jumpy... this is why I strayed from PC games. Maybe an update will fix this.
But I like the game. I can't wait for the boss battles, they look impressive with in the screenshots !!!

If you can already play guitar, I can see how simulated guitar playing wouldn't be that fun, but for those of us who aren't real guitar heroes, the game is addicting.
The neighbor kids were over today and we were all playing. It's weird to me that, when they play, they just stand there stiff as a board like they're in deep concentration. Maybe it's all that air guitar back in the 80's but I move and jump around and like to get into the "performance" just as much as the accuracy of hitting notes. They were laughing at me today. I just told them I lived through the 80s and could rock harder than all of them combined. And I totally kicked their butts at the game. Eventually, they started joining in with the "performance" aspect too and we were all laughing at each other and having a great time.

Wel, I think I overstated it a bit. I did "play" one of them. Once. For about 2 minutes. I remember a whip and very poor play control. I never bothered with the series again.Drift wrote:Blasphemy.xodacia81 wrote:I've never played a game in that series.Drift wrote:Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the DS.
It is a Castlevania game. What more needs to be said?
I picked up a new cell phone here recently.
How do these games work... do you buy it, download it and then are able to play it or do you have to keep paying a little every month to keep the game ?
AND where do I go to purchase these games ? I have seen games for Hellboy II, Call of Duty but I don't know how to get them and to be honest, if I have to keep paying on the game (like my last cell phone), there is no way I am going to get it.
So how does all of this work ?
