Big thanks out to hitvideos for a great transaction of Batman Legends of the Dark Knight 1-200. They arrived in GREAT shape, VERY well packaged and I am VERY satisfied... thank you, Larry.

I also want to thank comicguy for sending me a Joe Jusko (my fist to cuffs buddy at SDCC) signed print of Nick Fury. (too bad the post office had to f@ck it all up, but dammit it sure was a nice thing to have sent to me as a freebie !!!) THANK YOU comicguy...

I know I am missing someone here but it will come to me.

OH yeah... and I want to thank COMICKINGS out in Virgina Beach, VA for the great COMIC KINGS t-shirts and the pristine copy of Civil War #1 Turner Variant cover for the nice price of some great conversation. Thank you Joey... a mighty nice book to add to my collection, thank you.

CRIPES.... new freakin' bags/boards was over $32 alone !!!! :!:

STILL working on getting those done... ahhh but who am I to complain, I loved getting the box of so many books and besides, the bagging and boarding is like a calming ritual with me and THEN I get to put my re-sealable circle stickers on them to close the bag.

I've found that round resealable stickers work SO much better than tape. The stickers being circular are perfect for separating the flap from the bag, no tearing. That and you never have to worry about a 'tape tear' as these are resealable, just a joy to work with.

And yes, I really love the set... (I notice they didn't put some of their best artists to task on that title though, nice covers but the interiors could have been better.

AND I need less than 20 to complete the set, it only went up to #214.

Big shout out to Knightt for always looking out for stuff for me...this round, it was some Marvel 1991 chase cards I needed.

Also, my man Elveen for always hooking me up with a killer deal on books. I'm so close to a complete Sojourn run now, I can taste it!

I want to thank depluto on a MOST excellent Xbox 360 game trade. He put in a couple of things that were not part of the trade (well, soiled underwear is not the 'best' freebie, I have gotten but maybe I can wax my truck with them and I don't complain about anything that has the word 'free' attached to it ) :thumb: !!!

BIG THANKS depluto !!! :thumb:

Comic Karma, man... I am just sorry that it was missing two of the three holofoil chase cards. But thats not too bad, bud because it is all the other chase cards (9 funky looking cards) are by far harder to find. I was suprised to find all those chase cards in there in the first place.

Just glad to help out and I hope you liked the #0 issue story inside. :thumb:

I want to thank Warrior-13 for the great set of Batman holo cards (I WILL find a #6 card, hehehe) That was a very nice gesture and I appreciate what I consider one of the best Batman card sets to date. VERY difficult putting them in the 9 card pages without getting finger prints on the cards.

Again Rafael, thank you VERY much.

Super props out to slym2none for the Crossgen Travelers R.A. Salvatore Demonwars 'Trial by Fire" #1 that arrived a couple of days ago.

Thanks for looking out for me, slym... one step closer to that Crossgen goal, buddy. It may be slow going but it sure is damn nice of you to help out. I really appreciate it, brother.

I gotta give out a huge BOO YAA to my friend, JCVaughn for the copy of the Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #39. The book is amazing (pricing aside) with all of the articles and pretty much a historical breakdown. It has an AWESOME Avengers vs Loki cover on it (showcasing my favorite superhero team, The Avengers, this must be an early homage cover as Captain America is not to be found. There is also a VERY nice article about one of MY favorite characters... BATMAN in there. I just 'glossed over it' for an hour yesterday and I didn't even put a dent it it. This is the first Overstreet I have ever SEEN let alone own... but what makes it special is that it was a gift.

At $35 a pop for these books, there sure is a lot of info in there. I cannot imagine the work it took to maintain it, put it together and make sure all the info is correct.

Again... thank you JC.

A few days back I recieved a rather heavy package in the mail from mr. Hobo. Not only did it contain the first 5 pages of our still unannounced project (and they look quite killer) but also the original art for the entire Playing God story. Let me just tell you that the art is a thing of beauty to behold in person. All that plus his backer board art from the Solar 10 project and a wicked Jack/Darque pic used in the second print of the Zombies project. But that's not all, a very cool Wolverine head sketch topped the whole thing off.

All I can say is :o and a huge thanks to Stu for not only drawing my silly little stories but for making me the proud owner of the single largest Stu Berryhill art collection in the world.

I now need to buy several portfolios to house these treasures. Thanks Stu. :thumb:
