I'd agree, but right below the $135 listing for the Regular edition #0 CGC 9.8, they have the Gold #0 CGC 9.8 listed at $80.

Yep, the CGC census numbers show that the chromium covers are predominantly CGC 9.8s. Tough to damage those puppies.

That's because they have a recorded sale of the gold on Ebay for $80 in 9.8. They think the sale for $130 on the link was for the regular when it was a (my) gold (which I wish I had back). Rather than someone looking at it logically, they are just following the recorded sales data blindly.

I saw that and it is just stupid. If I wanted a digital copy why wouldn't I just go to the auction and copy the pics for myself? Anyone that is interested in that auction knows that an original is currently listed on ebay and that they can just copy the pics anytime that they want to.

Whoever this guy is, he should be taken out back ...

 Yeah, I won a NTT #10 from him and went to see if he had anything else I might be interested in. First time I've ever seen someone selling comics selling something like that at the same time.

But hey, I can save on shipping that way.

That's got to be a first. An empty box of Valiant cards. May as well spend a few dollars more and get the full one.

This would only be $1 more, on a per box rate, shipping included :thumb:

Yeah the Jim Shooter thing would be the only "spamming" part..though I think that the jury would be out on that since Shooter did create valiant.. :thumb:
