Actually, the first two were awesome and sold like gangbusters. The third one was not as well done, but still worth playing.

I played online risk last night with a few of my friends from the ATHF board I run. I had decided to retire undefeated some time ago, but my friend Trish wanted to play and Trish doesn't exactly understand tactics, so I popped in on the game just to see the trainwreck. It was rather entertaining, she didn't want to attack anywhere until an opponent invaded two of her territories in "MY AUSTRALIA".

She was the last opponent I wiped out. Rather disappointing, 4 players and this game only made it 6 rounds. I might play more if any of my friends could make it 10 rounds with me. She ended up in another three-player game and I started advising her about three turns in. She ended up winning. It was almost painful - she went from worrying about the electronic representation of loss of life to wanting to conquer her neighbours. But yeah, tutoring a blonde in tactics is not something I'd feel like doing daily.

The site where we play is http://www.conquerclub.com . It's a worthwhile diversion.

It isn't a Video-game, thus I didn't mention it, but I went back and played Diablo again on my new PC. It's still got it.

Heck yeah. Diablo is da bomb. I remember when I was in college, skipping classes and staying up 48 hours at a time just playing Diablo.

72% through Burnout 3.

I've also been playing Capcom Classics lately. Best arcade collection I've found so far overall. Great selection of games. It goes above and beyond with the game options (rapid fire on shooters is a God send!) and unlockables (music, TONS of art, etc). 1943, Street Fighter II, Final Fight and Gun.Smoke are as awesome as I remember (even if Gun.Smoke is friggin' impossible). And I've had tons of with games I wasn't familar with like Forgotten Realms, Mercs, Son Son (Capcom's first game!) and Section Z (made all the way to Section R!).

I doubt anyone knows this but does anyone know how to get Mobi-Chan in 1943? It's the only goal that I didn't meet when I beat the game so I assume it's a hidden item you shoot to uncover (Wikipedia says theirs a cat you can collect who will give you lasers so that's probably it)

I tried this out. Not bad. But, man, this is going slow... between deadbeat players and sequential play order, I think three of my games are going to run into summer.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed for a couple of days and am having trouble getting into it. The graphics are great, but the game is just ok and a little too repetitive.

I think this may be my first trade at Gamestop.

Up until a few years ago..... they were the winningest (is that a word?) all time team in all 3 major sports. Meaning they had the highest all time winning percentage.

..... um...... yes.

I'll always be a Raider fan..... regaurdless. I could tell so many stories of going to games. We had season tickets for like 6-7 years.

I have seen so many Broncos fans get punched in the face.... I could not even count.

I took the time to measure that out and that was a 623 yard touchdown run. Pretty impressive. :)

Is that winning percentage regular season only or does it count postseason play as well? cool either way. I guess I value championship and post-season play more. That said, I'd hate to be a Philadelphia Phillies fan. The loosingest franchise in sports history. Not saying they are a bad franchise-try the Lions or Cards in the NFL, the Clippers in the NBA-but holy smokes....that record of 10k PLUS losses is simply astounding, even in reltive terms of baseball.

I picked up Call of Duty 3. This is a pretty damn good game. I love the colors that they use, they seem more WWII realistic and the missions are a blast... OH and I can turn a corner and end up grappling with some nazi chowderhead and bash his brains in ? Now who wouldnt like to do that ?!?!?!?

That kid has to much time on his hands. He should go outside and get some fresh air.
