I've been playing "The Godfather" on the 360 now for a few weeks. This is a good game for me to have to become acclimated with the new controllers. I am almost done, probably finish tonight or tomorrow.
I picked up "Assassin's Creed' at BB today for $39.99 so that's up next, I am looking forward to it.

The whole COD series is INTENSE. Not a calm moment to be had ANYTIME. I never expected a 'hectic' sniper mission but COD4 comes through with not only one but TWO of them.superman-prime wrote:COD 4 is awesome, it might be better then halo 3. its campaigns are short but, extreamy intense![]()

one f the best games ive ever played
I've been having a blast with Ratchet and Clank (PS3) for the past few days and started The Godfather tonight which is VERY entertaining.
I've been wanting to pull Overlord out for days. I have not even seen how great it looks in my new HD TV let alone furthering the game along.
Whew... I finished Call of Duty 4 last night. It was incredible and I am glad I waited for ALL the credits to finish for that last scenario... very cool. I honestly do not finish many games but so far I have finished Gears of War and now Call of Duty 4 on the 360.
What to work on next... what to work on next ?
Looking over my list of 360 and PS3 games... dudes, I have WAY too many. LOL Always taking advantage of 'buy two used games, get one free' can add up to a lot of games.
I wonder, should I replay Gears of War and even COD4. Do any of you guys do that after you finish a game or do you get rid of it ?

With a near 100% failure rate on movies making horrible video games, I believe that we 'may' find one coming out real soon that will break the mold. I sure do hope so... Greg, can you please make the image a bit bigger for better reading ?

Have you played it online, yet? It is amazing!! I used to be such a fanboy for Halo and was a little tentative to pick this up. My roommate and the other guys I used to play Halo with pinched in and bought it so I would play with them and now I don't know why I don't really see any reason to play H3 again. The pace of the online game is intense and incredibly fast paced. Another nice thing is the strategy that is involved in having the right weapon for the right time. Also you really need to use teamwork to use alot of the "streak weapons" effectively. It is important to get a teammate with a 3-kill streak to launch their UAV when you have as airstrike waiting so that you know where to drop the bombs. and when you do........BOOYAH!! In comes the Helicopter raining down death on the opponents. WOW!!!superman-prime wrote:COD 4 is awesome, it might be better then halo 3. its campaigns are short but, extreamy intense![]()

My favorite mission was this one.

I had a friend whose dad flew gunships in Vietnam and I always thought they were just incredible
I've been maintaining a healthy mix between the 360 and PS3 lately as well. The PS3 online community and support has gotten SO much better. I DLed a game for the PS3 called Super Stardust HD and it is WAY loads of fun, well worth the cheap money to DL it. PS3 is on the rise but now that there are not too many PS3 exclusive games out there, for some it may not be enough to go that route. I wish that the PS3 would put out more games in 1080p instead of their standard 720p. Hey, they still look GREAT but just think how much better they 'could' look' in 1080p.
Resistance: Fall of Man continues to rock as well... my eye is on Frontlines: Fuel of War coming out in April or near there. Played the demo and there is nothing like wasting guys with a remore control helicopter equipped with rockets.... whew mama.

Well, that took way too much time. The past few weeks have not been good for free time, but I finally finished it tonight. Excellent game, although the final fight was not as tough as I was hoping. I managed to get 80% complete on the first run through.Daniel Jackson wrote:I can't wait to see what they'll do next.jedimarley wrote:I've been replaying the Metroid saga.Daniel Jackson wrote:Metroid is awesome, you'll love it.iccarus wrote:Finally finished Halo 3 on Legendary.
Now, on to Metroid for Wii...![]()
Hands down the best game/concept ever.
Now, on to Zelda for the DS. Need to figure out what game to buy after that. Do I pick up Mass Effect or seek out a new Wii title?

I actually liked the last battle, it was challenging, but not off the charts. I think I liked it better than the first Metroid Prime end battle and Echoes to tell you the truth.iccarus wrote:Well, that took way too much time. Got a DS recently and have been rockin it old-school. Going over the "Advance" editions of Final Fantasy 4 and 6, the latter of which could be my favorite game ever. I also picked up Sword of Mana, theGBA version of FF Adventure and also Final Fantasy 3 for the DS itself. It's not a bad game, looks-level and even style of graphics-a lot like FF 9.

Persona 3 PS2 - pretty cool JRPG, usually dont get into these type of games, but this one is addicting and easy to set down/pick back up. 10hrs in and barely scratched the surface
Call of Duty 4 360 - man what a great game both single and multiplayer. having a hell of a time beating the Mile High Club on vet though
Resistance PS3 - after playing COD4, my expectations were let down, prob give it a chance again here in a few weeks
also cant wait for burnout paradise next week
