I'd read it, especially if Jesse gets beaten up at least every other issue.nutflush76 wrote:I think it could be a bit of foreshadowing.jmatt wrote:Good catch!apainter wrote:The psychologist lady, I don't care what she calls herself, that's a young Dr. Joyce Brothers!![]()
And I'm wondering what the Darpan fixation on Winnebago is, too. I mean, it could be nothing but why choose that?
Maybe Pete bugs out with Darpan and a few other Harbinger kids and they go on "Sting and Darpan's Kooky RV Escapades".![]()
They'd certainly meet an interesting cast of characters as they elude Harada from one campground to another...
Maybe Pete and his drug addict friend from issue #1 go to the desert in a Winnebago, cook meth, and become top drug lords.
Then, after perfecting the formula for the purest meth ever, they are able to earn enough money to build their own "school" to train students to eventually battle Harada and his students!
They would call the storyline "Breaking Eggs"
Could happen!

yeah, but then somehow things would just get worse and worse and worse until...I'm not even certain I want to watch that show anymore. Whenever I figure that Walt just can't go any lower...damn.nutflush76 wrote:I think it could be a bit of foreshadowing.jmatt wrote:Good catch!apainter wrote:The psychologist lady, I don't care what she calls herself, that's a young Dr. Joyce Brothers!![]()

What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

I don't know if this was discussed before, but I'm not sure how I feel about EVERYONE'S eyes glowing when they're using their psiot powers. Back in the day, I thought it was cool that only Sting and Harada's eyes twinkled. It kinda set them apart.

Definitely noticed that. Wasn't sure how I felt about it. Now that you mention it was exclusive to Harada and Sting (telepath types), I know why it's been bothering me. It makes sense to me that those with less visible powers (than someone like Ion for instance), would have an indicator that they were about to tear some *SQUEE* up.Blood of Heroes wrote:I don't know if this was discussed before, but I'm not sure how I feel about EVERYONE'S eyes glowing when they're using their psiot powers. I loved this issue, I was still on the fence after the first two, but this issue definitely, won me over.

Re: Harbinger 3 - Discussion Thread
I don't think the Bleeding Monk is a "prisoner" in that he sees himself that way. He could care less where his earthly husk resides. He's not interested. Whether it is the Chinese army keeping him "imprisoned" in the Tibetan mountains or Harada keeping him "imprisoned" at the company, he could care less. He's not really part of the physical world anymore in his own mind. He could probably "escape" any time he wants but it would be pointless to him...

So, we've all recently seen the preview for Harbinger #4 by now I'm sure......
Man, any affection for Faith's good looks as being a thick beauty at the end of issue #3 just went out the window, lol. She was drawn as a cute fat girl at the end of issue #3 but in issue #4 she appears to be much larger than originally thought and didn't look attractive at all. Damn shame, lol. Can't wait for the issue though!

I agree with this. Not sure why such the drastic change and why art director didn't step in at least a bit. If anyone reads Invincible from Image Comics, I think they should have kept her about "Eve" size.
