I picked up Stormwatch 7 and 8, they were pretty good to me, about a 3 to 3.5.

I liked the storytelling, and the amount they put in there, I think some of it was lost on me since I haven't been reading the title and I'm not too invested in the characters.

Still, it was a fun read that kept me going through the whole thing.

I picked up Stormwatch 7 and 8, they were pretty good to me, about a 3 to 3.5.

Still, it was a fun read that kept me going through the whole thing.

Cool, glad you liked them. Definitely a good experiment as to how well the compressed story-telling was since you could enjoy the issues without really knowing what happened before.

I don't remember you talking about it on the show, but seems to me they are seeding the return of a Gen 13 or at least they are going to develop a history of them within the New DCU. From what I've read (and I don't read everything so might have missed some), Caitlin, Grunge, and Warblade mentioned or referenced being of the 13 and that Superboy's TK doesn't affect any of them.

Yay for cross-promotion!

Yeah, we neglected to talk about the 13 but from what we saw in The Culling and from what Scott Lobdell has mentioned in past interviews, he's unaware of any plans to do a Gen 13 title. Of course the seeds are there and that may be what Lobdell was planning because word is Fairchild was not supposed to be part of Superboy title and it was Lobdell who added her in. So who knows, as with anything else, people just need to show interest.
