Which movie will Vaughn actually be working on next?mtv on 4/14/2010 wrote:With the adaptation of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s "Kick-*SQUEE*" finally hitting theaters this week, it seems as if director Matthew Vaughn may have several comic book related movies to pick from in the near future. Last month, Millar stated that Vaughn would direct an adaptation of a new comic book series created by Millar and artist Leinil Francis Yu while a later report indicated that Vaughn was considering a script based on the Valiant comic, "Bloodshot." However, another comic book movie has emerged as a potential third option.
During an interview with Jonathan Ross at The Guardian, the article states that "Turf" — Ross' new creator owned comic book with artist Tommy Lee Edwards — may also be made into a movie by Vaughn. The report also points out that Ross' wife is Jane Goldman, a frequent collaborator with Vaughn and the screenwriter of the "Kick-*SQUEE*" movie.
"Turf" takes place in New York during the prohibition era of the 1920s, as a gang war erupts between human mobsters, vampires and aliens. The first issue was recently published by Image Comics.
Ross is a well known television personality in the UK who recently announced that he will be leaving the BBC in July. While "Turf" is Ross' first comic book series, Edwards has extensive industry credits on "Batman," "Daredevil," "Bullet Points" and more recently on "Marvel 1985" with Mark Millar.
Edwards has also worked on numerous comic book related movies including "Batman Begins" and "Superman Returns."

Cool. There's also a Harbinger with a 2013 date . . . is that "our" Harbinger? I can't see the details since I am not a subscriber.BloodOfHeroes wrote:IMDB lists it as "in development" with a 2013 date.
(all props to MOTA for the heads up!)

Again, according to MOTA, it is. I'm not a subscriber, either, so I can't shed any additional light, unfortunately.iggy101us wrote:Cool. That says that Rai 0 is the first appearance while EW 4 is a cameo...geocarr wrote:Check Greg's 1st Appearances page.dave wrote:Or was Rai #0 his first appearance? So look for copies of EW 4 & 5 to start hopping on ebay
That thing also describes Harbingers as people with special powers and then says the Harbinger kids like Kris and Sting.
Should that be changed? Kris was a "Harbinger kid" i.e. in the group, but she didn't have any powers...
Not to overnidify MY nerdity or anything...
