I’m so there with you—two of my favorite creative teams who have definitely left an indelible mark on the medium!

I would also have to give props to Barry Windsor-Smith and John Byrne. :thumb:

Nice choices, I think you would like my comic collection sir...

First, thanks for saying this. I spent a lot of time this past year getting things ready for the 40th anniversary of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. I'm happy to say that Bob will be at San Diego this year, the first time he's ever allowed a show to pay his way. That took me twisting Bob's arm, but he finally gave in.

I really think he deserves a lot more credit than he gets.

Second, a lot of the names in this thread are already in The Overstreet Hall of Fame, which we started in the Guide in 2006. We've been steadily adding the greats, ranging from before the Golden Age to today's folks. We've even had modern creators like Billy Tucci and Jim Shooter do some of the write-ups of those inducted.

There will be more entries in the 40th anniversary edition [begin plug mode] which goes on sale Wednesday, July 21, 2010 [end plug mode].

For those of you who don't get the Guide, the full listing of those inducted so far will be in our Free Comic Book Day offering.
I personally would put Mr. Overstreet in the Comic Book Hall Of Fame. I didn't realize you guys had one. Pretty cool. :thumb:
