Uhnnnn. The only reason I own a copy XO issue 0 at all is because the completist in me said I must have it.
The story was sub par, adding nothing to the mythos of XO that we hadn't already figured out for ourselves, and the inclusion of Elvis as the "map bring" was sillly beyond words.
The completist in me now that says I must own every shade of the rainbow that this story was published in has been tied up, put in a burlap sack, weighted down, and thrown off the nearist pier.

I sold mine for $20.00 , I don't see this one going very high at all. but you never know.
Good case in point. I knew a guy in Florida who had 3 or 4 (can't remember) copies of the Bloodshot Platinum error. he sold them all at cover price because he thought it was no big deal. then, as you all know they recieved alot of attention and have sold for upwards of $1000 or more.
Thats why I say you never know. CGC certified this as a legitimate error book which does carry some weight. maybe not to everyone here on the boards who think (just as my friend in Florida did) that this is no big deal at all. there are people in this world who crave error books. Double covers, inside out covers, die errors. color errors, Blah blah blah.
now I know that this one is more common than the platinum by far(hell, i have at least 6 or 7 more myself) but it is different. and for people who collect error books, this is a gem
so I don't judge the book because of my opinion, I judge it for what it is worth. Clearly collectible to someone who loves this kind of stuff.
and I hope Key comic does finally sell it for something, because as of right now they are in the hole with listing fee's.

By cover price, I mean cheap. the Platinum had no cover price. he did not price it any higher than regular. I actually considered buying them all but ( as always) decided to get a more important book like Spidey or G.I.Joe, whichever i liked more at the time. probably Joe. I still have complete sets of Joe I refuse to sell.
Point of my raving is this. Someone thinks this books is special. and apparently so does CGC .
I think we are all looking through our piles of x-o #0 and pulling out all the "Ivory" copies we have .
Just in case.
Am I right?

I agree. This seems the most likely reason. Since the white spine also seems linked to this error, it was probably an entire print run. One of the members with experience in the industry could tell us how many books are generally in a batch but I think it could be 10K+Daniel Jackson wrote:Exactly.mrknapp33 wrote:If you look at the other colors on the ivory issue, you can see that the white is dull throughout. Take a look at the laser from the hand cannon, as well as the small plasma burst around the laser. I would chock this up to a production run that did not add enough white to the mix- or however the book coloring is produced.

If someone here did this, they need to be banned immediately and seek medical attention! I don't care who you are, this is uncalled for. I certainly hope it wasn't someone here!imagesowner2 wrote::
By the way, which one of you emailed me a death threat during the auction? I got a pretty big kick out of it.![]()

Wow. It's interesting though, in a few ways.MProyas wrote:currently at $355
This very well MAY BE the only one of these EVER, because chances are CGC will realize that this is not a variant edition, or even a printing error, but merely a printing inconsistency.
Plus, people will realize that these are common as can be (as evidenced by the large numbers people here have in their collections), and in no way rare, or even desirable.
Someone is buying a CGC case. Not the book inside it.
