Actually I've been thinking that what VEI might want to consider is a line of Shoen Jump! style anthology series. You could also do a line by each series about different kind of Valiant hero/setting/theme. Basically it's magazine like series, each issue runs about 250-300 pages and printed on newsprint, or Baxter paper for about $6.00-$10.00 each issue.yardstick wrote:Cyberstrike wrote:Finish Unity 2000 and use that to explain what happened in X-O Manowar #68.
Then blow up both V1 and V2 universes and then start fresh with a hybrid of V1 and V2.
That would be eaier to do if they had Solar...
You could have series called Valiant Heroes that would feature
stories about the present day adventures of Secret Weapons, X-O Manowar, Archer & Armstrong, The Eternal Warrior, Harbinger, Quantum & Woody, and Solar.
You could have another called Valiant Action that would feature stories of the more action-oriented adventures of Psi-Lords, Ninjak, Armories, HARDCorps, Turok, and Bloodshot
You then have Valiant Horror a mature readers series that would feature stories of The Second Life of Doctor Mirage, Shadowman, Deadside, and Darque.
Then you have a series called Valiant Future which would feature futuristic sci-fi stories of Valiant heroes Dr. Tomorrow, Timewalker, Destroyer, Rai, Magnus, and The Future Force in stories leading up to the 41st century and beyond.
You could also have Valiant Classics which would reprint VH-1, VH-2,
and Gold Key stories.

Hmm...interesting idea.Cyberstrike wrote:Actually I've been thinking that what VEI might want to consider is a Shoen Jump! style anthology series. or what McFarlane pulled with SpawnManofTheAtom wrote:You're talking about constantly moving the finish line and never actually getting there.xodacia81 wrote:Yes, to a degree, I meant a sort of elasticity, but more specifically, I was talking about what many of do not want to see, which is to have the events that took place, have taken place, but to have made them happen more recently. I am talking about, as an example, instead of Jack having a 7 year window of 1992-99, have his 7 yr window be from 2006/07-20013/14. NOT what I think anyone would want, but a mere suggestion on what could happen. As for the "let time flow" and then see where the characters are as of now, that has potential, but could also pose problems. The entire issue with bringing this line back is that nobody is going to be totally satsfied. I say, let's just wait and see what happens, then complain if needed.
"Jack's going to die in 99!"
"Jack's going to die in 2019!"
"Jack's going to die in 2029!"
In the end they'd keep promising to kill Jack but never actually deliver... for what? What's gained from doing that other than keeping the character alive forever?
