Still under construction - I have very little artistic talent at all but some of the military folks here are what I'd call unpaid professional model makers and they are at work on it in the hobby shop (as you know thing is quite big)!

I haven't even seen it for a 2 months as the the base here has been busy (shutting down soon) but I'm supposed to have it pre-Christmas :superstar:
Well it sounds really cool, I'd love to see when it's done. :thumb:

I'm guessing this isn't your only USS Flagg? How many of those suckers you got?

For a loooong time it was on my list of "THINGS I WILL FIND A WAY TO GET SOMEDAY." But once I started collecting Joes I looked around and realized I have nowhere to put a 7-foot icon of my childhood desires.

So I'm going to get a Defiant instead. You know.....someday.

This is mainly a follow up to my post in this other thread because I can't compare to some of you guys and this post just didn't seem to fit there...

The local Dollar General had a bunch of GI Joe Venom vs Valor Single Carded figures for $2 each and I couldn't pass that up. I got plenty of duplicates so I could open some of them.

Sometime later my wife sees me taking a pair of scissors to the packages and she asks me what I'm doing. Without thinking about it I explain, "I'm cutting the file cards out for my file card collection."

My wife stops and looks at me and says, "You are such a dork. If I had heard those words come out of your mouth before we got married, I don't think I would have stuck around to marry you."
