ah, I didn't even get to talk to you much, my friend...maybe next time! :thumb:

Getting to talk to MAC was an extreme pleasure. I've been a big fan of his work since I saw his stuff in Timewalker. I really enjoyed it because he was doing John Byrne's style BETTER than John Byrne was at the time. It's great to see how his style has changed since those days and I was very pleasantly surprised when I heard about the sketchbook project. I'm really looking forward to getting this one! :thumb:

Yeah, pretty much... even my av (right-click on it) was a sketch I had Sean Chen do for me.

Yeah, usually a quick pencil or sharpie type sketch. Either a head or a bust and not a lot of detail. I like 'em because it allows me to own items from my favorite artists without breaking the bank. Most at cons do them for free but some (George Perez comes to mind) charge up to $60-70.

Seems like Ivar aka Timewalker is a natural selection for that sketch, but design wise, Bloodshot looks more dynamic so that would be my choice.

MAC, thank you for doing this. I'll always remember 'discovering' your work on Timewalker and feeling in awe. Deep down, I hoped an artist of your talent could help save my beloved Valiant Universe -- if we ever get these characters relaunched, it would be great to see you involved :thumb:

How about Gilad and Aric the Visigoth staring each other down????? If not, then whatever is your favorite character to sketch.

Only because MAC does the BEST. NIGHTCRAWLER. EVER. !

And he's a pretty nice guy at that! I was told to ask for issue number 40, I believe...and maybe I should post that shot? Just so you guys know how talented he is, but you probably already knew that! So save a copy of #40 for me...thank you!

That's very reminiscent of Alan Davis on Nightcrawler there - but better! NICE!!!

That's only because MAC did it, and he has a definite flair for the dramatic!

Looks like three spots left! Wayttago, Flinx!!!

Looks like I am the only person (so far) that's asked for non-VU characters, unless x-omatic was serious about getting a Bone sketch. (Now THAT sounded dirty...)

i loves me some jack of hearts...i've got a full figure JOH sean chen page from avengers infinity.

i bought the book, saw the page and told my friends "i will own that page one day"...saw sean at heroescon in charlotte a few years later, asked about any avengers infinity pages and he pulled out the very page i swore to own...i bought it for $80 and grinned for weeks.

here's a pic of the actual printed page...
