Ugh, time limits in games should die. That was one of the factors that really turned me off Lost Planet. That ticking time bomb feeling is just not fun anymore.Cyberstrike wrote:Well it's a fun game but the time limits in most missions are a real pain.iccarus wrote:How is it? Do they at least have a plot device to justify it?

I've never been a big fan of time limits in games either. I like to take my time when I play not feel like I'm being rushed around.iccarus wrote:Ugh, time limits in games should die. You got Galaxy already? Where? where?depluto wrote:I've got a couple of levels to go in Conan (not bad, but some interminably long boss battles) and a couple to go in Ratchet and Clank TOD (best game on the PS3) but since I just got Super Mario Galaxy, those two might have to wait.

Picked up Call of Duty 4 with a free copy of Call of Duty 3 at circuit city. might delve into it this weekend
Also, finally finished all levels of Picross DS

Now on to the Phantom Hourglass

Gave up on Mega Man 8. Makes the Willy Castle in the first game look like a cake walk. I'm happy with beating 6 out of the 8 original games on the Mega Man collection. Playing the Japanese Mega Man arcade games now (the last games in the collection). The second one is total bad a**!
Just got Punisher. Definately liking this game. The interrigations and gun play are great. Can't wait to get into this one. If being a heartless vigilante was this much fun, we'd all empty out our local gun stores.
And Burnout 3, I'm ;less than 20 percent through the game and I've already hit a skill wall on the races i need to progress forward. Either the computer is really good or i really suck. On the other hand,I am a god of destruction on the crash mode and am having so much fun causing 20 car pile ups. I've never had a game give me this much frustration and elation.

Playing Super Mario Galaxy. The game exhibits qualities of the tried and true of Super Mario 64 with some brand new innovations. Very impressive and fun game if you love the Mario series. Well worth the money.

It's Jackass. Really can't expect much. It was fun. Just way to short. I had it beat in a few hours. Took it to gamestop earlier this week. Got some credit and bought FF XII and MLB Slugfest 2003. Tonight I bought The Incredible Hulk: Total Destruction and Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007. have not played FF XII yet but I have messed around on all the others. I'm not much into the sports titles except for the midway blitz and slugfest titles. Less rules. It usually ends up being 30 sumthin to 2 or some other lopsided score in my favor. Also been going through the GTA games. Beat III and Vice City and started on San Andreas. Although I have beaten all 3 several times they have good replay value. Climb onto a roof and get out the rocket launcher or sniper rifle.myron wrote:please don't tell me you expect much of anything different...Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:Jackass: The Game for PS2. Flat out *SQUEE*. It's short. Not worth $30.

It really is a beautiful game to look at and the mechanics are simply groundbreaking, IMO. I know some people were dissapointed with Mario Sunshine (personally, I enjoyed it though) so this game will make up for it many times over.depluto wrote:This is definitely the best game on the Wii so far ...
