There is also the Dark Alliance and Dark Alliance II to get through... nice stuff. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Batman Begins, Ultimate Spider-Man and The Punisher are also GREAT games that I would like to finish (finished Batman Begins, it was that good).

I would definately try to buy an Xbox LOCALLY, on Ebay ya takes yer chances. But if you go to EB Games, you can buy a gaurentee.

I am talking about Xboxs, not 360s, I am talking about an Xbox. The memo does not refer to Xboxs at all.

If I were to get a 360 that went bad (looks like they all do, mine has been GOLDEN so far, crosses fingers), then BOOM that goes right back to MS as they have extended their 360 warranty to THREE years.

If I had a problem with an Xbox I purchased new/used from EB Games, then I could just take it back to them until we got it hashed out or I just got my money back.

I know that with both my 360, PS3 and my HDTV, I made sure to get the in house warranty as well as make sure that the manufactuerers warranty was there and if it could be extended, I did so. I dont want any of these to fag out on me two years and three days down the road and be SOL.

Smart :thumb: I did the same thing when I bought my HDTV best thing I could have done.
So far I havn't had any problems with my 360 but I know that sometime seeing those rings will happen....

Are the Baldurs gate games any different for the Xbox than for the PS2? We have them (and finished them) for the PS2.

I also just rented Marvel Ultimate Alliance to see if that is any good.

Picked up the Orange Box last night. I didn't get home early enough to start on it (and still get sleep), so it will have to wait until tonight...after Heroes of course.

GTA III. Going in order. Once I finish III I will switch to Vice City then to San Andreas. I am expecting a few games in the mail soon as well. Gokdeneye Rogue Agent is one of them. Never played it before.

Ratchet and Clank is the best game I have seen on the PS3. And even if it ain't your kind of game, it's still the best-looking game on that system.

Absolutely *SQUEE* awesome!

Be a long time before I get a PS3. Meanwhile I am still working on the GTA games as well as Def Jam Vendetta. I just beat Goldeney Rogue Agent. I bought X-Men Legends sunday from gamestop and the damn thing does not work. Got to take it back.

I just picked up Neverwinter Nights 2 for my PC. Also got a new video card that makes it playable too. I'm really getting into this game. A nice way to ignore the world for a little bit of time every now and then.

My copy of Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat is waiting for me at EB Games right now. I pre-ordered so I get to pick it up now instead of waiting until this evening when they stock it on the shelves. whoo hoo... I took today off for this.

And awaaaaaaaaaay we go.

News to follow.

(but I have to admit that my 360 has been making odd sounds lately... has my nerves on edge)

A mini review for now... how about one word ?

INTENSE !!!!!!!!

From the begining it is balls to the wall action (did you know that 'balls to the wall' originated as an Army term ?) and it NEVER lets up, I mean NEVER.

I've gotten to the AC-130 level and thought it was not a lot of action until I heard the creak of my joystick from me holding it too tight. Nice running story with stellar graphics (with all the goodies turned on, I only noticed ONE stagger... ONE) and easy movement, switching weapons and accuracy, there is one trick to aiming which you will find out when you buy the game and it SURE helps out A LOT !!!

I hope that I have a LONG way to go.... 20 gamer points are achieved through out the game left and right but mostly for ending a mission but on one level I got 20 points for killing a dog (Friend on all fours or something like that).

So far... so damn good.

Almost done with HL2 at this point. I've been really busy and taking my time with it. I might go ahead and just do Portal after that's done, before jumping in on the extra episodes. I still need to try out TF as well. If you don't have it already people, the Orange Box is certainly worth the money to pick it up now.

I also printed out the location list for the Skulls in Halo 3. I never got around to doing them on either playthrough (should have focused on it while doing the campaign on Heroic)

The wife is gone for the day on Saturday. I have a feeling I'll be making a nice new butt print on my favorite chair.

It's amazing how much more I care about doing as much as I can in these games, now that there's an actual score attached to it.

I really wanna pick up the orange box, but I already own HL2. I'm gonna have to find someone who doesn't own it, so I can "gift" it to them.

Currently, I'm playing Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines. I know it's old, but it was down to $10 on Steam.

How is it? I'm usually pretty wary of movie games.
