Depends on scarcity and popularity, just like comics.

1991 cobra commander for instance regularly sells for $50-75 on the card.

A lot of 91-94 carded figs will sell for $5-$15, plus $5-$10 for shipping. I got these 81 figures for $10 each with no shipping costs so I saved a butt-load on shipping alone.

Some of the 94 ones seem to cost more, I guess since it was the last year they weren't selling well (just like late VH1 issues) and thus are more scarce and valuable:

I'm going to photograph all of them on the card and then rip them open to make 3D photos for 3DJoes. It's gonna be a hella good time! :D

except for that Cobra commander fig, right? Right?!

Get a loose one for 3D Joe use, if its worth that much carded!

I'm not a big fan of the fig's from that era, but this is very cool that you've scored a huge batch for use on your site. :thumb:

Great minds think alike! If the carded fig is worth more than $15, I'm picking up a loose one too.

I was a big 1985-1989 Joe fan. By then I was 10 and I didn't like the outlandish colors they were starting to use, so I got out. Now, for 3DJoes, I'm buying Joes I never thought if own, just to complete the site. "The fans demanded it", well that and it feeds my obsessive compulsive collecting habit :-)

Boxing day blow outs! Most people go to the mall, I go to the comic stores.

Here's what I got-
XO#2 1:20
XO#4 1:20
Harbinger#1 1:20
Bloodshot#1 1:20
Harbinger#7 Flamingo variant (2 copies)
Harbinger#3
Bloodshot#2

Grand total $50, VF board value $96 :)

The XO#2 and Harbinger#1 variants were a very pleasant suprise as both were in really good shape and I didn't have either.

I had to dig through boxes of variants for about an hour to pull them out, glad I did though. I thought VALIANT had a lot of variants but these were rare needles in a huge haystack of Marvel, DC, IDW, Image, Top Cow etc. etc. (ridiculous amount I was like WTF?!). I must have gone through 6 or 7 long boxes packed, the only thing I found and passed on was XO#6 Zircher variant he had 2 copies for $36 each

Just a few days ago got all 30 issues of HARD Corps for $20(shipped) off of Ebay in VF/NM condition.
I'm not overly concerned with condition as these are going to be reader copies anyway.

Sweet! I'm thinking about binding some VH1 books, so I also picked up the full Harbinger run for $70.

This guy inspired me:

Groo was my first fave character that got me into collecting. Groo #34 was on the shelves IIRC. Dunno what this edition is but I will have to check it out.

I watched it for more than a week and did nothing then I swooped in at the last 3 minutes and starting bidding it up, I crept it up to $46 and could see someone had a standing bid and I guessed $50 so I bid $50.07...3,2,1, I win 8-)

Super sweet deal, I'll be jazzed to get the books :)

Well, when it's green on a completed auction is was won. But it is quite possible it was a listing error, and the seller will cancel the listing.

No football today (Pro Bowl doesn't count  ) so I decided to go $1 bin diving.

Here's what I got-

VH1- Shadowman #1 (in good shape, wow), Outcast #1 (suprised and needed it) and XO #51 and #52 which is where I'm at with that run.

Acclaim- Shadowman #1 (nice copy) and #2, MRF #2-6 (already had #1) and Eternal Warriors #3 (the Archer issue)

12 books $12 :D

It was cool to get Valiant and Acclaim Shadowman #1s in the same bin dive but going through the "S" boxes was a chore, there was like 8 of them.
