Sorry to disrupt the fun. As always, I am not sleeping but having my time!

When you say limited edtion, eg elven Limited edition.
How limited? roughtly.

I kinda guess ultra 5000 are limited to 5000 (2000)
but what about limited edition?

As far as i can tell the only Signed editions are the ones actually done within the company itself.

Different covers by DF count but not sigs that i know of.
However some small print signed books are at least recognised as nice to have.

Maybe we can have a look into what has been done by DF at some point and see where it takes us.

Every once in a while, you pick up something really nifty and don't realize it until months later.

Case in point: Months ago I picked up a very nice copy of Malibu Signature Series #1 (I think). I just bagged/boarded it and replaced my battered copy. Well for some reason, I took it out last night and BOO YAA, there must be at least 15 signatures in there !!!!

I think I will take this to SDCC this year and see if I can get a few more sigs to add to the book. Probably will end up taking this around to any conventions that I go to and try to fill up the book. But I know that this will never happen as 'one' of the sigs to obtain is Barry Windsor-Smith and in all actuality I wouldnt want him to spill any booze on my book in the far fetched event that BWS would even sign anything. :|

Still a cool after the fact find for me. :thumb:

Managed to get some more ultra 5000 and holo covers. Not sure what condition yet but cant wait.

I seem to be concentrating on the premiums before the actual standard issues.

I really want the Firearm # 0 with video more than anything though.

Quick question about the Warstrike #1 Variant. Is this one just have a different back cover or is their one with a different front also? The reason I ask is I have both versions of the different back cover one & want to take it off my needs list if this is the case. Plus I'm trying to get as specific as possible on my want list so i don't have to dig the long box out everytime I'm trying to purchase these. Plus alot of times I'll be at a comic store , have my list handy but yet not handy enough with all these darn variants :!: but man thats what makes this universe kinda fun to complete  :thumb:

I have only seen two covers to Warstrike 1 and they fit your description.

Warstrike 1 variant is a tricky book to identify. Both versions have front and back cover images and both variants have one cover image in common.

I had thought I had both covers and doubles of both covers until I actually paid attention to the back cover and noticed my folly. I only had one of the variant cover and only identify it as the variant because I had 5 of the other covers.

Side note - I went to a dumpy old used bookstore a while back and they had a stack of old comics - Defiant, post-Chaos Effect Valiant, Malibu and NOW - and the only Ultraverse (not the only Malibu) comic in the stack was the hard to find cover of Warstrike 1. Sadly, the owner wanted $1.50 per book, so that was a no-go.

Big Tel seems to agree:

That was on my watch list!

If I'd known that was you bidding, I would have taken it off the watch list earlier. I already had one and figured I didn't need a second.

Picked up an Ultraforce Ultra 5000 instead for $1.25 plus $3.50 shipping.
