Gambit, I will gladly refund you your money and I will still send you a litho set. I am truly sorry for any bitter taste left in your mouth and not everyone here is bad. I am sure a few others will say my shipping skills suck as of last year and I take FULL responsibility. I am truly sorry and want to get you posting again.
Myron, I have your book and will gladly toss in the coin with it. No excuses, I suck at shipping and have had your book for months and months and months in my possession. Again, the duration is way too long and I take full responsibility.
CKB, I found the zip lock with the items in it. I will send you the items as well as the coin to make it even. I know you and I can square it away and I will very, very soon.
Dsire, I know when you and I spoke last, you weren't too worried, but I am and I too will square you away. Refund to come.
Byrneout, Same item as Dsire, will be mailed out with a full refund.
cinlach@aol.com, You and I have bounced emails off of each other the last couple of days. I will dig out the books you need to square you away as well. I think I have the four you need.
whetton, I haven't forgot you either. I have not gotten the book from from you know who, but I have the original one still in the mailer. Its your call, I can either mail it back, or drop some coin to you. Let me know, I know we haven't spoke about this, but I haven't forgotten you.
If there is anybody else, please, please PM me. The first 3 people above were the only 3 to post anything on the boards. I believe the others listed are fine folks that I have had dealings with that I, for some reason or another, failed to deliver.
Everyone here can feel free to email me at justin.d.ehart@gmail.com Please update your records for email contact as my comcast account is no longer active and I will be moving back to Kansas from Colorado soon.
Please, all those listed, please PM me with your address as most of my database is in a PC that is no longer accessible by me, possibly forever.
Again, I hope there are no hard feelings, I should have taken care of you all sooner and hope to regain/rekindle our friendships through the board.
I may be on a sabatical for some time, I will pop in and check PM's daily, I will reply promptly from now on. Any of you with my mobile number, feel free to call.

hmmm atleast 7 people that he currently has problems with...
and I think that he still owes Slym a secret santa gift, unless slym got it and didnt say anything about it.
That is too much. I think that myron said it has been over 15 months..15 months and he cant make it to the post office on one fo those days? He cant get someone to make it to the post office for him? I got nothing against Justin, seems like a nice guy, but maybe he should finish a few things up before he starts on anything else...

It is my business when I knew that I shouldnt have let you into the secret santa program....I went against my better judgment and let you in and then you, to my knowledge, never sent slym a gift....so you made it my business..architect wrote:I am not asking you to buy it! Its not your business, so don't worry about it.DawgPhan wrote:sorry...I dont buy it...Not making it to the post office in 15 months is not about being busy...

You also made it my business when you came on here proclaiming that you were going to buy the #5 bloodshot print and send it to BOH. You made a big deal out of that and it never happened.
We are all busy....when something is important you find a way to do it. When it isnt you make excuses...

i'd be very much surprised if slym didn't get something.
months late perhaps, but there nevertheless.
i can understand why the secret santa thing is a sore subject with dawg. it's his baby and near and dear to his heart.
however, justin did wrong and then came and faced the music...i won't kick a man while he's down.

Sure, but that's not the point.cinlach@aol.com wrote: i'd be very much surprised if slym didn't get something.
That's half the point.cinlach@aol.com wrote:months late perhaps, but there nevertheless.
True. Dawg has every right to be upset that his good-will holiday project got mucked up. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to do it again next Christmas.cinlach@aol.com wrote:i can understand why the secret santa thing is a sore subject with dawg. it's his baby and near and dear to his heart.
If you look back to page one you will see that both Gambit_1 and Myron were told by Justin in November that he would straighten things out. Here it is February and he straightened out neither. How full was Justin's plate 15+ months ago? That was well before the move, the auction, etc.cinlach@aol.com wrote:however, justin did wrong and then came and faced the music...i won't kick a man while he's down.
Justin's a nice guy and I think we can all agree that he is well intentioned. How much slack is enough? When should said slack be taken in? The bottom line is that a person should not commit themselves to things that they cannot go through with, for whatever reason.
What I don't like here is the perceived double standard. If this was not a well known board member people would feel different. This is incredibly similar to the recent experiences that ZWH had with Joe Petrilak.

it's a touchy subject for everyone...those intimately involved and those not.
everyone's gonna react differently to this...but as one of the folks involved i'd say give the benefit of the doubt.
now if things don't change after this point then that's a different matter altogether.
i'm a big believer in my gut instinct...and my gut tells me things will get resolved.
after all there's so much of my gut it's plainly evident that i have difficulty in not listening to it...lol

i've offered to help him out with his shipping woes. right now it's just a matter of finding a time to get together to go help him out. i'm getting ready to leave for a few days to go up to the mountains, but hopefully he and i can get together later this week/weekend and get all of this straightened out.

I have dealt with arch once before, and everything went smoothly. I have told him not to worry about this secret santa thing, it really isn't that big of a deal. If his plate is full, and it's as big a plate as I hope it is, then I for one can let this go. I cannot, however, speak for others and their situation.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Thanks for hanging out Saturday Zach, it was a great way get my mind off of a situation I dug a very deep hole in.

Dude! My condolences... you definitely don't need to be worrying about something like an internet "secret santa" gift right now.
I hope everything goes as well as it's able to for you.

I would have to agree with you on this one Technique. This is not a knock on arch, he's being vocal and letting everyone know, in public of all places, what's been going on in his life. It's none of my business, but it's a tough thing to do publicly and he will be forgiven if the people he dropped the ball with feel he deserves it. And if the big "D" is what I think it is, I feel he deserves a little forgiveness. I don't know Joe Petrilak, but if he did what ZWH said he did, and he is held in high regard by members of this board, it seems like a double standard. I don't know if the same people who told Z to get over it and move on are the same people taking the other side in this situation. Help ZWH out and set things right!Technique wrote: What I don't like here is the perceived double standard. If this was not a well known board member people would feel different.
