no, there was a delivery issue and it'll be tomorrow before it gets here.
the driver decided i don't work at my office anymore...lol
it was marked as "incorrect address" and sent back to the fedex hub. when i called at 11:30 this morning to tell them "hey, i'm right here where the address says!" they said they would get the package back out to me asap.
cut to 4:30, still no package. so i called them again...seems no one told the driver that the address was correct and there's no way they can get it back out to me today.
so i'll have to wait until tomorrow to get it.

i gave them an earful already...i have no doubts that it will be here tomorrow.
but i can kinda see it...i mean, how many packages do they ship in a day? so it's not like there's not already a precedent set for mistakes to occur...i just wanted them to know that i don't like it when i call them and tell them to deliver it and that message isn't passed on down.
they also had the address wrong...i don't know if that was their error or not...they had it going to 112 instead of 122...but either way, it'll be here tomorrow.
no biggie

dude you are SO getting more of my money...lol
as for an update on the package...here's the newest development:
after speaking with a woman yesterday morning, i was told that the package would be re-delivered between 3 and 5pm that day. when i called at 4:45pm to check to see if that was still on, i was told that delivery that day would be unavailable and i could pick the package up at the hub until 7:30pm...BUT the driver was extremely backed up and probably wouldn't return to the hub until after 7pm.
so foolishly...i decided to let it ride and have it delivered today instead of risking driving all the way over to the hub only to have the driver return after i could pick the package up...i figured i'd avoid deathrow that way.
well, when i check the status this morning i see that my package is BACK IN INDIANA!
<grumble>
so, once again i call...not quite as polite this time as the last.
they're shipping it from indianapolis to greenville and it should be delivered between 3 and 5pm today.
if fedex pooches this again then it's open season on any unfortunate fedex employees i happen to run across. maybe a ups delivery of fedex driver heads will get their attention (i could be overreacting just a bit...).
don't beat yourself up over this anthony...you don't work for fedex...all this drama is their doing.
we cool, we cool.

112...it's cool though. it got here and that's all that matters.
i cannot wait to get this thing up on the wall...i'm going to print the color version here at work and hang it up along with the original.
thanks for the digital coloring by the way. i had contacted tom smith (i know, nothing but the best for me!) about it and digital colors would've been $250 and hand colors would've been $300...so as you can imagine i had resigned myself to NOT having a color version.
but you, anthony my lad, came through in a big, big way.
seriously, as soon as i get some more fund-age together you'll be slaving away for me again...if you're willing that is!
