Sounds like a spot-on interpretation to me! It's a great commitment to keeping a creative vision & style for the book, I'm happy to see that. And if it is the case, that's gonna make for a sweet deluxe HC collection eventually for those who like 'em.

I'd take that action too, I'm thinking another 2 year run. It could be longer, just depends on just how much 4002 is sprinkled in here. That in itself could take up a couple of arcs, which (hopefully) would push this to 3 years

Well, if you look at the Bloodshot line, it too has been going for quite some time. Sure, they've been different chapters, but it's been a continuation. Bloodshot, Bloodshot Reborn, now Bloodshot Salvation. Ninjak was better than 2 years, (27 issues?), so not a perfect example, but it did last longer than the 2 years.

Also factor in the "ICON" push Valiant has been on. Bloodshot has pushed his way into what I would consider top 2 or top 3 of all Valiant, he is a great pull. Having a long run is beneficial to Valiant

The way it's been done is stellar and should be a testament to how renaming an re numbering should be done.
When wrath of the Eternal Warrior was being solicited It was implied Eternal Warrior would be ongoing.
So my statement still stands. I don't like being lied to and promised ongoing when really it's just a year story.
I love Valiant comics but I hate patchy long boxes full of single one shots and minis.
I'm a run guy and if it's 12 issues I'm ok with that but don't lie to me.

I also don't like being lied that some one shot or mini will be cannon ground breaking showing me stuff that fills gaps or holes in the universe. When it's not.
If I want non cannon non linking stories I'll write my own but I'm not investing in them to give them away or toss them out later because they don't sort right in my long boxes and take room from other stuff that does have cannon and interests me.
