Re: Quidd
You did pretty good. Tough to give up a #1 but that Lula Lee card is a PITA. Bobs Burger cards are usually good trade bait.

Re: Quidd
I only opened the free packs for Bob's Burgers to see if there was anything I could trade for Valiant.

Re: Quidd
What do the numbers mean?

Lula Lee is toughest, but that 113 isn't the serial number that I have, and it can't be the point value. Plus I'm missing card #6 and it has a number underneath just like the others.
These numbers don't seem to have any explanation (in the Android app).
EDIT: Do they represent how many of each are still available/unopened in the 1st Edition packs?

Re: Quidd
Yes, although they are usually in order of the card numbers. There are 113 remaining Lula Lees ... when it hits 0 it says Sold Out

Got it....if anyone else wants an official invite PM me your email address. You can still get the extra 10000 coins using the link you'll get in the email.iggy101us wrote:Interested in giving this a try. Re: Quidd
Thanks tchalla8. I just downloaded the app.
I just joined the Valiant channel (of course!). Is there a way to get the 1st edition sold out cards? Would I have to get them through trading? Any other tips?

Re: Quidd
Really they only way to get those Sold Out cards is through trading. Another tip...pull the free cards from the other channels. Those can be good trade bait with those who collect multiple channels besides Valiant.iggy101us wrote:Thanks tchalla8. I just downloaded the app.![]()

Re: Quidd
Weird. Those cards aren't 100% sold out yet, and there are continuous free coins available to keep trying. I guess this kind of thing puts an actual dollar amount on "virtual frustration".

Here's a set listed for $200 or best offer (not mine):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Quidd-Complete- ... SwrhBZFoEr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I know it's a rare set and sold out almost instantly but asking $200 . . .

Re: Quidd
There are a total of seven 100-count cards in that app ... four of them are in that Valiant set, two are from a Breaking Bad set and one is from Star Trek. The Trek card is worth way more than the others.
When that Valiant set was released I realized how hard it would be to track down later so I dropped $30 in real money in iTunes to buy coins. I just barely got the set.

Re: Quidd
Thanks for that info. I didn't realize it was so lope-sided. The ST card was eventually reprinted and even the 2nd edition is very desirable.depluto wrote:There are a total of seven 100-count cards in that app ... four of them are in that Valiant set, two are from a Breaking Bad set and one is from Star Trek. Has Quidd issued any guidelines on reprints? That ST set had a 2nd edition and there's a rare Breaking Bad set that also had a 2nd edition.

Re: Quidd
I think those four cards would be more desirable if they weren't tossed in for some unknown reason into a pretty plain set. But there are several hundred thousand people using Quidd now (Bob's Burgers channel has 300,000 followers; Valiant has 40,000 followers) so 100 sounds pretty damn rare.
Second editions are always twice the print run (and thirds are twice the print run of seconds). With the second edition of the Star Trek card you had a fraction of 1 percent chance to get it in a pack, but they accidentally packed a bunch in with a totally different set and almost 80 of them were gone in just a few minutes. Drops aren't always fair or sensible.
