Re: 2016 Titles Speculation
There was a tease at NYCC called "Bloodshot vs" maybe that has something to do with Deathmate.Keith wrote:So, yeah, Dinesh responded to my request for a tease from the recent writer's retreat with #Deathmate and included Jeff Lemire on the reply. Joking?
What if FVL next project is Shadowman?

Re: 2016 Titles Speculation
Maybe FVL is doing the new Harbinger series that's supposed to come out this year? Or Gen Zero? I didn't think any creative teams had been announced in connection with those yet. Not that Gen Zero is even confirmed, just that they got a copyright for it I think. Harbinger was teased at the same time as the new A&A series which starts in March, so hopefully we hear something for Harbinger soon. I'm hoping for more from Dysart, but we'll have to see.

They applied for a trademark, not a copyright. A copyright applies to the rights to reproduce a completed work. A trademark is an exclusive right to use a name, mark, etc. in commerce.Phoenix8008 wrote:Maybe FVL is doing the new Harbinger series that's supposed to come out this year? Or Gen Zero? I wouldn't put too much stock in when things are teased. The 2013 FCBD book teased Ninjak for Summer 2013 (and we had already seen him in X-O, so it wasn't teasing the first appearance). I think sometimes they have plans, but they're open to changing them depending on a number of factors, I'm sure.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

Hmmmm... Dinesh responding to a tweet about how the Valiant books aren't necessarily "superhero" books:
Inadvertent confirmation?Dinesh wrote:It's something we are very conscious to embrace and protect. You'll see it bloom in 2016, esp with Britannia and Savage.

Agreed. It would also be a great venue to explore more of the mysteries of the Faraway.Bl00dsh0t wrote:+1Ras the future fan wrote:I hope Savage is a Turok/Tarzan esc, book set in the Faraway, I would really like that.Keith wrote:Hmmmm... Re: 2016 Titles Speculation
Britannia has at least now appeared as part of internal adverts.
Savage has not.
I'm a bit perplexed at why some months do not fully fill their 9 books a month quota.
Seems a shame to let them sit there empty. I'd be utilizing one shots, #0 issues or Annuals to plug those holes.
Those slots seem perfect to test the waters of say Geomancer, Armorines, HARD Corps, Q&W, Gen Zero or others in the one shot/#0 issue format at minimum and yet nothing.
