Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
I'd definitely grab the new Iron Man title. I've wanted to get into Iron Man for a while but the art/story never really grabbed me.
I am very much hoping they keep around the Weirdworld title after Secret Wars as well. That's just 100% pure comic booky goodness wrapped in a doughy deliscious bun. They are bringing back Crystar in it! CRYSTAR!

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
It kind of makes me wonder how they would make the Punisher all-new and all-different. For some reason, both gender-bending or changing his race don't really seem like enough to me. Maybe make him a mob boss? Maybe make "the Punisher" about more than one guy, like Frank has organized redundant cells of "Punishers" in every city and no one can tell who he really is?

there was an alt version of the punisher.. more a bondage hentai chick who punishes.NinJZA wrote:It kind of makes me wonder how they would make the Punisher all-new and all-different. Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
I read the Secret Wars free preview book that had previews of most of the new titles. Looks pretty fun to me.
They definitely aren't playing it safe. I look forward to reading it all in 6 months.

Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
On the subject of vigilantes, Marvel could have made a big push for Solo ("While I live, terror dies") post-9/11. I imagine that they wouldn't want to stick so close to real-world events if they did, but they could have easily created an organization of super-powered terrorists for him to go up against.ilzuccone wrote:there was an alt version of the punisher.. more a bondage hentai chick who punishes.NinJZA wrote:It kind of makes me wonder how they would make the Punisher all-new and all-different. This image (on the left) reminded me of Doctor Mirage:

I have no idea who either character is.

I was about to say that looks like a clear rip-off of the Doctor Mirage cover, but it's by Mike Norton who does Revival, so that imagery is familiar to him via his own work as well...jeremycoe wrote:This image (on the left) reminded me of Doctor Mirage:

Just about everything leaked today looks like *SQUEE*. Same old *SQUEE* with a different package. Hopefully a few titles will rise out of this steaming pile of *SQUEE* and become a nice polished turd like Ms. marvel and Hawkeye.

Got this thread and the Twitter Valiant announcement thread mixed up and thought you were crapping on Valiant. I was like "holy *SQUEE*! I had the exact same thought until I got to the last sentence !
Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?
Re: All-New All-Different Marvel
Tend to agree, Valiant shall continue to be my main "shared" universe company along with what ever else floats my boat like that new Power Rangers series Booms going to do.BugsySig wrote:Just about everything leaked today looks like *SQUEE*. Not much love for Marvel these days, period. Plus, I don't think most current DD fans are excited about anyone not named Mark Waid writing the book.A I Diva wrote:No love for lawyer Charles Soule writing Daredevil?
