Btw. Up above I mentioned that "Valiant will hook you up." I meant that they will talk to your LCS (that is what Dinesh tweeted). My LCS was not planning on even looking into it until I mentioned they were returnable and they could talk to Valiant.

Now that I have resolved to reduce my VEI regular pull to 3, I definitely do not have any leverage anymore with my LCS so that I can get this FVL book. Sigh. And I would not fork out money to get this book because it would amount to one week salary. I could not morally justify with my family why I have to spend so much for one book.

So you just "resolved" to become less of a Valiant fan, but "Sigh" they won't get this book for you for $4? Definition of entitlement attitude (IMHO, your opinion may vary).

No, I am just echoing the sentiment that for us here outside the US, where comic books are a luxury, they are basically askng us to sacrifice money that is enough to feed my family for a week for one 22-page book. No there is no sense of entitlement, how dare you judge me. Have you read my post? I did not ask it to be GIVEN to me. I am just saddened that I can not afford it because it is exorbitantly expensive given our living standards here.

That, there, is the crux of the problem. All of us here are big Valiant supporters, and many of us have an issue with it still. Perception is a big thing, especially for a small company I think.
