So, I'm not sure exactly what I'm allowed to discuss regarding things we learned on the office tour, but I think it's safe to say that I'm convinced that, at the very least in the near-term, the future of Valiant is looking good. And that there's a good chance that that Archer shirt I've been wanting may be available sooner rather than later.

I posted a bunch of non-Valiant things to my twitter feed @geeksaremypeeps if you're interested in more than Valiant

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the board as I'm still catching up, but everyone on the office tour received a copy of the retailer giveaway from SDCC of Doctor Mirage #1.

Did somebody break out charts? On an easel? Power Point presentation?

There were charts. They may have been rotated 90° to make a downward trend look like an upward trend, but if that's the case they were convincing.

Seriously, the overview we got inspired confidence (not that I didn't have confidence in them); there was some info that just never shows up in press releases. For example (I think this is safe to say), they've taken on some new staff people, and I think that's a sign that they have confidence in themselves.

Oh, and the covers of the new Dollar Debuts look pretty cool. (They had boxes of some of those in the office.) They're significantly enough different from last year's that you won't mistake one for the other.

There was one piece of information that........ I don't know if I should say it :hm: ...... Oh, what the hell: Atom! considers himself the consummate bartender but it turns out he can't mix a drink for his life.

90 degrees? That would look like they're going back in time. Or are you saying... Timewalker? They're going back in time to reboot Shadowman?! Now it all makes sense.

Great art purchases, kjj - and a good deal on that Henry page :thumb:

Also nice to see so many cosplayers - Jesse did great as RAI, and very cool to see ladies getting dressed up as Valiant characters, especially a Punk Mambo?! :thumb: :thumb:

[Dunlow must have gotten pretty excited to see an MLP tatt on her leg, :lol: ]

Thanks for sharing.

And speaking of Dunlow;

Oh, meant to post this earlier:

I asked Dino about the pricing of the new books, since there didn't seem to be a mention of it in the articles I saw (other than that the bonus pages in Ninjak would be for no extra cost). He said that the price is not changing.

There will be a "non limited edition" edition. Without the signed A&A #0 and I believe a different bottle(?) When... I have no idea.

But what if I'm not on the boards when it is announced?! I'm sure it will sell out quickly!
