It was as entertaining as heck to watch Bloodshot vomit and whoop the tar out of Harada. I mean seriously. Which one of us didn't want to see Harada get beat up?

I have to admit, watching Bloodshot lay down the smack on Harada was very gratifying. He was in full Terminator mode.DrSoup007 wrote:It was as entertaining as heck to watch Bloodshot vomit and whoop the tar out of Harada. I mean seriously. Which one of us didn't want to see Harada get beat up?

Finally got to read this issue... what a great one, hands down, all around.
The entire fight between Bloodshot & Harada was epic! The facepeel was visually stunning to look at... I must draw that! I can't help but wonder if Bloodshot might have succeeded in taking out Harada if they had been alone. Ion's interference certainly gave Harada a chance to turn it around quickly & survive, but otherwise...
Harada's cold-hearted killing of Saturn to save himself - of course he would do this, and I agree with pixierosa's sentiments on how horrendous he is for it. So twisted that he could do it so easily and yet with such certain purpose. I am curious as to what Ion's reaction will be, but I think the general opinion expressed here is accurate - Harada will likely mindwipe him. I think Harada wants to stroke his own ego by allowing all his people to follow him freely, but I doubt he is above resorting to mindwipes to keep the illusion of his 'pure vision' intact. But then... this kind of revelation is a great hint at the future possibility of some Eggbreakers [such as Ion, Stronghold & Livewire] NOT getting mindwiped after witnessing something similar, and leaving/escaping from Harada.
Also loved the whole bit with Charlie Palmer...that the HARDCorps are a decommisioned 90's unit [
] that predates the development of Bloodshot. I'm excited to see them in action next issue. Interesting that they were/are part of 'Rising Spirit Securities' as opposed to PRS - I wonder if there will be any significance to that distinction. I suppose that PRS is just a division of RSS.
Really enjoyed seeing more of the GZ psiot kids in action - very haunting to see just how isolated they all were, from the cool concept of Animalia's cartoon referenced animal projections, to that one panel where they're all staring off past the dying woman trapped in the rubble from their crash landing, pleading for help... it really makes what was done to them by PRS all the more inhumane.
I had no issue with the pacing of the book, nor the use of narration & or explanation captions for the kids powers. We kind of need that to help keep track of what they all can do as we get to know them.
The art was absolutely top notch this issue too, and while I'm pretty sure I can spot the difference between Perez & Henry's styles, it was an outstanding job of making it as seamless as possible. I counted 7 pages by Pere, and I thought they all were great. Clayton's attention to detail in his work just blows my mind.
