You got it...I'll keep you updatedCarson wrote:Go for it man! Buy em all and stuff em in people's boxes. Let me know if you end up going for it and I'll send you a pdf you can print. Just let me know what name and comic shop you'd want to mention on the flyer.BugsySig wrote:I was considering doing the free-view as well. I dont have a hoard, but they were having a huge Black Friday sale and I was going to pick up any extra VALIANT issues they had. Unfortunately my trip to the LCS got derailed, but I may try again next VALIANT Wednesday and see if I can't convince the owner to make me a deal on whatever he has left. He's usually pretty good about that. I bought about 2 dozen VH1 issues (including several pre-Unity Magnus, Solar, Rai and Shadowman) for $30 last FCBD.

I talked to the owner of my LCS and he is on board with it. They got my hooked on Y: The Last Man because one of the guys gave me the first TPB to take home and read. If I liked it, I was to pay for it the next time I came in, or if I didn't, I could just put it back on the shelf. I think/hope these guys know the value of spreading the word about good books.
Unfortunately, I didn't participate in any of Ed's offers and my shop has a kinda small selection of past issues on their shelves, but I was able to pick up two Shadowman 1's, four Bloodshot 1's and one Archer & Armstrong 1. The owner gave me a ridiculous discount on those books too, which was very nice. I'm thinking about picking up a few X-O and/or Harbinger TPBs as well rather than try to go out and find copies of the issue 1s.
I hope to get this really going after the holidays and my vacation so I'm gonna have to wait a few weeks, but really looking forward to trying this program out at my LCS.

That's awesome man, I'm happy to help. You'll be the fifth to give away Valiants. I love the fans on this board.chriskay99 wrote:I talked to the owner of my LCS and he is on board with it.
