Ok kids, we're less than a week away from the big night. Here's how everything is going to go down...God willing.

The Con is open until 7pm. I know that most people are going to be there until the doors close, but I'd like to get the Trivia Game going by 8pm. People are welcome to come over any time before 8, but in the interest of time I think we should start the Trivia Game at 8. I'll order pizza (Dominoes, probably) at maybe 7:30-7:45 so we can eat whilst Elveen tests our knowledge of all things Valiant.

After the champion is crowned (no repeat for Chiclo

), we'll move to the Poker Tournament. This will be a No Limit tournament, with a buy in of $10, no re-buys. To keep things simple, everyone will start with 50 chips and every chip is worth the same, regardless of color. We're looking at around 14 players, which is too many to fit at one table. We'll have to split the group (randomly) into two tables. The blinds will start at 1-2, and every time the deal comes around (to the original dealer) the blinds will increase by 1. So 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, etc. Once we get down to 10 players we'll combine to a final table and the losers can start their own cash game (or whatever) at the Loser's Table. As for the final table, 1st and 2nd place will split the money 80/20.

As far as dinner is concerned, post what kind of pizza you want so I can have it ordered beforehand. Otherwise we'll be eating dinner at 9 at night. I'll have drinks in a cooler-soda, beer, water, etc.

The reason I'm posting all this (especially the poker specifics) is so everyone knows what to expect and hopefully avoid confusion/arguing. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please speak up. I am by no means the world's leading authority on party planning. I'm just making this up as I go along.
