You have to upload them to a site like photobucket, then copy the link and paste it over here. Next, click the Img button (make sure your pasted link is highlighted first) and you're all set.

I know this is a little late but I scored a complete Secret Wars I set off of eBay just before Christmas.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... AQ:US:1123

I had been looking for a reasonably priced set for awhile and when I saw this one with a BIN I immediately pulled the trigger.

Initially the seller sent the wrong books but quickly made good by telling me to keep them and promptly sent the Secret Wars books.

To my delight all are in NM/M condition—CGC worthy—and are direct editions with no UPC codes.

Thats a good price! I'd most likely buy just #8 for that. If i may ask, what books did you get first?

Marvel Team-Up: 136, 141x2, 143-149, 150x2, Annual 7, Index 1 :?
I think on another auction his BIN was $10, but not 100% sure.

Wow... you do realize that Marvel Team Up 141 is also a very early appearance of Spider-Man's black suit right?

Btw...good score on the Secret Wars! :thumb:

Wow, no I didn’t. And my two copies are VF and NM direct editions too.

Thanks for the heads up. I had been thinking about giving lot away but wanted to read them first.

Esca - totally unrelated to anything, but i have a few questions.
1. Whats your street address
2. In what room are your comics located
3. What time of day are you typically not home

Like i said, totally innocent and unrelated questions

I'm kidding of course, you have one sweet silver age collection!

Anyone win anything from this month's focused auction on ComicLink? Unfortunately I've overspent my budget during the last round and had to sit this one out, but I noticed tons of high graded books went for record low prices.

Not sure why this thread is so quiet since the one over at the CGC boards gets updated very frequently. People here don't like to share what new books they got? :?

Anyways to breathe new life to this thread, I just got this in. The price was too good for me to pass up. I just love the cover! :cloud9:

I doubt there are that many people here buying a whole lot.

That SS 1 is sweet. That's a damn tough book. Nice copy.

Nope, although I do like the cover, but it's not on my want list for now. I'm just aiming for the bigger key issues at the moment.

That makes sense...pick off big books first where prices are most likely to climb most. :thumb:
