Cool. I'll be watching that one to see if now is a good time to sell my copy.

I went and snagged it from the post office this morning. And it came back CGC graded 9.8.

I know.

Gonna take one of my friends advice and put it up for a 30 day auction so it may give some collectors something to think about heading into Comic-Con.

And something to splurge on for anyone with money afterwards.

Auction probably going up later tonight. Right now I gotta get to work. Just have that 'won the lottery, gotta tell someone' feeling.
:o Holy freaking congratulations :o That is so amazing. What a find. Good luck with the sale, man

Man I paid the $3 for imaging from CGC. Not sure how that's supposed to work. Do they email me a digital pic? Is it somewhere I can access it?

Almost ready to post the BuyItNow/Best Offer auction, but for those wanting to see a pic, here you go:

You know, I'm not a CGC person by any means (I believe comics were meant to be read, not sealed away) but in cases like this, to see such a rare item in such fine shape, and have experts back that up can only mean good things for you! :thumb:

Besides, I'm sure you'll make enough dough to buy a few cheapie standard versions of Bloodshot 0 if you need to read it!

Still no pic of you holding it dude and no reply to quite a few requests for you to do so.

Considering how important this book is and in 9.8 too, dont you think after the amount of talk and congratualations on this incredible story/find that the people you are sharing this with deserve a shot of you and the book to clarify.

It would certainly help the sale.

Also i notice the CGC census has not been updated yet on another 9.8 and was wondering how often they do this as i think it has now been several weeks since you had this back from them.
Anyone have an idea on the tunraround time for this?

+1, although CGC is not the quickest to update its census.

I do like seeing people with their books... it adds a certain panache as well as provenance to the item.

Is the serial number 0159929001? The pic you give is very small, and hard to read...

Yeah, upping the pic via eBay it seems to have shrunk it automatically. I upped it larger to tinypic and linked it above. Here's the link again but to the raw image: http://i28.tinypic.com/2vvlsvr.jpg

Thing is I paid the $3 extra for "imaging" from CGC but they've never gotten back to me on that. I assumed they have better scanners (or at least ones upon which the whole slab will fit) and will add their image if I ever find out where it is or how to get it. It took them a while to ship it back to me, but it was the next day that I put it up on eBay. Been busy moving into a new apartment the past week and a half. God I hate moving. Lots of heavy boxes and a top floor apartment don't mix well with my fat and lazy physique.

I figured adding in my ugly mug would make it less likely to sell, but tomorrow after work, I'll try and grab a shot from my other computer's web cam for you all. I'll try and resist the urge to stand naked with only the slab covering me.

I'll tell you one of the offers was for $20 and I turned it down right away. The other one I certainly pondered and waited out the 48 hours... but I'd kinda decided to wait until after Comic-Con unless the offer really knocked my socks off.
