Why does everyone got their panties in a wad?
You know, along with a goat on a first-name basis with the Great Lakes Avengers.

Are you serious? Do you have a link or something?sonicdan wrote:Marvel has been referencing monthly comics as "pamphlets" for quite awhile now.
Something really just doesn't feel right about calling comics pamphlets. It makes me want to consider quitting collecting. I have no use for a room full of pamphlets. Are pamphlets collectible?

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

well now that you ask, collectibility is an artificial term anyways. It is the hype and the masses that give something 2nd market value. Really if you get down the the nuts and bolts of it, collecting is as much a sickness as gambling is and is an artificial construct we all agree to accept.400yrs wrote:Are you serious? I think I just equated us all to alcoholics...

What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter
