Omaha
I grew up in Columbus Nebraska and Sioux City IA, so I've made tons of trips to Omaha and have family there.
My greatest childhood comics memories were trips to Cosmic Comics in Omaha when we lived in Columbus that had no shops of its own. That was before I got into Valiant though. I live in Chicago now, but I still think of comics whenever I'm in Omaha.

Welcome to the boards!
Another Nebraskan, nice!
I haven't been to Omaha lately but I have always make the rounds whenever I am there.
Nice to hear ya got some nice books on the cheap!
Back in the day, I remember seeing my first Valiant Pre-Unity Solar books
on display at the Antiquarium in the Old Market.
I can honestly say it changed my life forever!

there are still a couple of guys that float from Des Moines over to Milwaukee and places in between that have some...or will bring some along if they realize there is a need for them...Broj knows some of them by name better than I...Daniel Jackson wrote:I think Zach from Daydream Comics has pretty much cleared out that area.....adammikael wrote:and hopefully I'll get some more issues next weekend at the show in Des Moines. You never know. There was a place that I went to, I went through pretty much everything. A few months later, Knightt found a GBU there.

A valuable book, price is very volatile, print run is likely 1,000 or less...
but sometimes found in clueless comic dealer longboxes...
who sell it for cover price ($2.50) or LESS!

High grade copies could break $200 easily on eBay.
No thanks.adammikael wrote:FMLYHM?
