I think the Eb games is in a different category than the Arm v2 #4.

Of the 3 in the title of the thread. I would say Armorines v2 #4 is the winner of what I have seen.

There have been a few U2K #3 on the bay the last little bit.

I agree. I havent looked or bought much in the past 6-7 months but...

In about a year of buying I picked up 14 unity #3, 12 Shadowman #6, and only 6 Armorines #4. I would buy them any time I found them [if prices weren't ridiculous] so I think for sure Armorines #4 is harder to find.

Come to think of it, I was seeing a few Armorines #4 pop up right as I stopped buying so it might just be a right place right time type of a deal.

I also agree on Armorines #4,but man we definitely need to put Deadside #1-3 as some tough ones to grab also.

Outta the three the only one I have ever seen at a con or a comic shop is Armorine #4. Found it at Coast con in 2010 in a cheap bin. Ended up getting it for 10 cents.

It is Armorines # 4, by a long shot. I have seen multiple sets and singles of Shadowman and Unity. Armorines full sets are rare and the singles of # 4 usually go for a nice chunk of change.

See there was a dealer with 20 longboxes of mostly 90s era stuff. He wanted a buck an issue or 20 comics for 10 bucks. Well I talked to him and let him know I was gonna spend at least 80 bucks. So he said i could have them for 10 cents each. I had ,thanks to this board, knew that Armorines 4 was hard to find so I snagged it. Also got some other later issues of the VH1 runs. Ended up over the 3 day con dropping close to 200 bucks just at his booth. He was nice enough to give me two empty longboxes to help carry all the stuff back to my house. Hit him up again this year. But he had nothing new.So I think I have gotten all the Valiant stuff he had. Also got the Comico Premier issue that is the first appearance of the Maxx for a dime. Both it and Armorines 4 are ,to my eyes, Mint.

Armorines #4 for sure on HTF

Deadside #3 is really tough

Armorines #4 was LATE and was re-solicited canceling the previous orders so when that happens it's NOT a Good thing.

Acclaim at the time was using this book as a convention giveaway because they had printed copies and the orders were really low on it. But Acclaim was also not at many conventions at the time.

True. Walter Black and company were essentially going around turning off the lights at the time. Fabian and Acclaim really did a number to that line.

Late to the conversation - but I picked up most of mine quite a while ago.

Remembering...

Shadowman 6, I remember finding relatively easily.

Unity 2000 - I can remember finding after a while of hunting.

Armorines 4, however... I searched for an obscure person selling at an insane price. And being thrilled to pay it.

I own more pages of original art from Armorines #4 than I do copies of the book.

That says something... :)

Armorines 4 for me too. I've never seen one, and I bought both Unity 2000 # 2 and Armorines # 3 off the rack from a LCS back when they were released. The next month, the shop got neither Unity 2000 # 3 nor Armorines # 4.

I found Shadowman 6 and Unity 2000 # 3 easily about 8 years back and have subsequently seen Unity 2000 # 3 at almost every show I've gone too, albeit at inflated prices ($15-$30).

Already had a copy of Unity 2000 #3, but hit my LCS yesterday. Last week they'd found an old Acclaim painted Magnus poster they hooked me up with.

This week I scored Armorines 4, Deadside 2 (already had 3), Shadowman V3 2 (both covers), and Shadowman V3 6.

Definitely made my day.

Elizabethtown, KY. I'd pulled most of my Valiant runs from this store (scored every later issue) but had never thought to check for the later Acclaim stuff.
