DC has beaten the word Crisis to death and watered down the original meaning each time.
Last thing we need is Unity 2008 to do the same to the word Unity.
It's time to move to another word.
First there was Unity, then there was Chaos... now there is....

I know they have been taking interest in Shadowman and Eternal Warrior of recent. Hopefully New titles are in the works as well as some more hardcovers.

I'm hoping they start with a strong foundation and solid material before they even think of retailer incentives, variants, and the like.robb77 wrote:yeah im sure they are workinmg on new material - hopefully they will kick off with some new vvssMoonChild wrote:I know they have been taking interest in Shadowman and Eternal Warrior of recent. Honestly, it would be nice to see a company NOT do 5 different covers and a sketch-cover 2nd print, et. al....

Eh. It doesn't bother me with the Marvel books. They are mostly 50/50 cover splits so I just pick the cover I like best.
Don't get me wrong. I pretty much hate variants, but quality is not suffering right now. It's not like the 90s where the focus was only on making a buck even when the story was crap. The books I'm reading are good even with the variants.
Now if you are talking something like Zoom Suit where the whole purpose was to make money by getting you guys to buy all the variant covers behind a crap story..... Now THAT I have a serious problem with.
