Re: haul
I've got a long box or so of Ultraverse doubles.h-comics wrote:Just got me a major haul on some Ultraverse titles that I needed.
I'll compile a list relatively soon (encouraged by the success with the Valiant trades) or if you have a handy list, go ahead and send it to me.

If you have pics I would love to see them. I don't know if I could buy them but I would love to see them. What are you looking to get for them?Knightt wrote:I just picked up the first two Star Wars books, dated 1977... made in Milano, Italy and in Italian.
I suppose off to Ebay they go unless I was offer stupid money on here. Anyone want to see any pics ? They are in GREAT shape.

A couple of goodies I picked up recently....
The Space Adventures is the first appearance of Captain Atom, it came from the CGC Boards' Virtual Comicon. It had been on my radar for some time, but I had never found a copy. When I saw this one, I had to have it!

This Spirit is supposed to be the first mention of Flying Saucers in comics. It came out three months after the first report of them over Idaho.
It's also part of the High Sierra Collection from Ronald Pussell, has anybody ever heard of it? It's not mentioned on the CGC label.

A group of auctions I won from one seller comprising Alpha Flight 1-60 and annuals 1 and 2. Probably V-FN. I loved this stuff when I was younger and wanted to re-read the stuff. First five issues - fantastic! The rest await redaing and re-reading for many. The books were dirt cheap, but I was probably gouged on the postage. The upshot was the price was probably fair in considering the combined cost.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month
