Anyone know anything about these price variants? I'd previously heard of the 30 and 35 cents variants but not these....
If it has only the 75 cents, it could be a Canadian price variant.

I've got a long box or so of Ultraverse doubles.

I'll compile a list relatively soon (encouraged by the success with the Valiant trades) or if you have a handy list, go ahead and send it to me.

If you have pics I would love to see them. I don't know if I could buy them but I would love to see them. What are you looking to get for them?

I hate to post before the item arrives, but man-o-man, I'm proud of this one!

I picked this up at the CGC Virtual Con. It's the first Captain Atom, third highest graded, and easily the nicest copy I've ever seen!

I skipped the VCC, but I think I managed to get some decent deals yesterday anyway:

DC Tarzan described as NM, #207-258,
Adventure Comics #346,
Incredible Hulk #180 CGC 4.0

About $200, all told.

I have 55 assorted Punisher books coming (I believe the first books of Punisher and Punisher War Journal) that should arrive tomorrow or so for $.10 cents a piece, plus the shipping of course.

CANNOT WAIT to find what goodies 'are in box'

A couple of goodies I picked up recently....

The Space Adventures is the first appearance of Captain Atom, it came from the CGC Boards' Virtual Comicon. It had been on my radar for some time, but I had never found a copy. When I saw this one, I had to have it!

Image

This Spirit is supposed to be the first mention of Flying Saucers in comics. It came out three months after the first report of them over Idaho. :cloud9: It's also part of the High Sierra Collection from Ronald Pussell, has anybody ever heard of it? It's not mentioned on the CGC label.

A group of auctions I won from one seller comprising Alpha Flight 1-60 and annuals 1 and 2. Probably V-FN. I loved this stuff when I was younger and wanted to re-read the stuff. First five issues - fantastic! The rest await redaing and re-reading for many. The books were dirt cheap, but I was probably gouged on the postage. The upshot was the price was probably fair in considering the combined cost.

Marvel Fanfare #1-52

DC's latest Manhunter series #1-30 (minus #5). I wonder if #30 is the final issue or if it will get another reprieve.
