It just blew me away that a brand new character emerged in the Spider-Man mythos that was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter. When I heard that I reacted strongly. Even started a thread about it. Lol
You gets props for sure. I could have gotten like 15ish copies do this book for cover-ish the last 2 weekends. Glad I got the variant.

Bust out your X-Force #19 issues they are quietly moving out of the dollar bins and making small waves

First appearance of Copycat who will be in the new Deadpool movie

copies that were sitting in Ebay stores cheap were snatched up quickly last night and now the fun on this one begins...

An announced appearance in a Marvel movie is like the modern "Picks From the Wizards Hat" from back in the day where every month Wizard would pick two issues that would be sought after and suddenly by the next month they were impossible to find in stores.

Irony is that I dumped several copies of this book for pennies a few months ago, just to clear room in the garage...

LOL, I never wanted a copy and I don't have one now, but suddenly I want one...

It's easy to sell a hot book now, too. Just pop it on eBay and it's gone.

I think you can still get it and the Skottie Young variant from Midtown, with a '1 per customer' restriction.

Looks like the same basic design of Marvel's character.

Yeah, that "2967" costume is definitely almost exactly like Marvel's version.

I went to the two LCSs today, didn't see any Silk #1s. The one shop that was my little "source" for stuff has seemed to finally catch on. Ant-Man #1 is selling there for $12, usuallt those would just be sitting behind the #2s.

That's fantastic! If Marvel ever publishes that book I might have to pick up a copy.
