I have hundreds of Marvel, DC, Gold Key, Dell, etc etc FIRST ISSUE Comic Books that I need to sell ASAP because I'm moving out of state and don't want to take them with me.
I was a friend of the owner of MILE HIGH COMICS in Boulder, CO back in the mid-80's and bought ANYTHING that was Number 1 that came through his door.
Sometimes the Second or Third issue was available so I purchased them as well.......Couldn't really afford the Golden Age. Lots of 70's, 80's...nothing newer than '85.
I moved to CA in 1986 and haven't bought any since...I went on to other interests. Now I want to sell the lot.

The MARVELS are locked inside a metal trunk that is padlocked. I lost the key many years ago, so you'll need to bring bolt/lock cutters to cut off the lock. Perhaps I can borrow/rent a cutter.
The entire Collection has been stored in a closet undisturbed for over 15 yrs.

Because I knew back then that I was moving to California I removed the staples from the MARVELS to eliminate rust damage to the comics, (WTF was I thinking?) so if you want them back in original form you'll need to re-staple them......or not.
The Comics are all bagged and in GOOD to NM/M condition.
I'm entertaining all cash offers, and would even consider trading for ___________(fill in the blank) whatcha got?
Comics with staples removed and locked in a trunk with no key. Bring your own bolt/lockcutter.

At least, it seems only on the Marvels. DC, Dell, & GK should be okay...

I wonder if he'd like my wife's "spare key" key chain. It's got about 30 keys on it that we have no clue what they might open, but she refuses to throw any of them out. Never know, one of those keys could open something VERY valuable.

I wonder if he still has all the staples - I would love those. No telling what valuable comic those darn things held together. I could make a mint on Ebay with those. :D

Tell him you'd like to trade a locked U-Haul filled with original art which has had the ink removed.

Read the full description, if you can get past the headline. This is just sad.

I don't understand having a reserve and then posting it. Why didn't he just start the auction at $300?

I need a new phone and I have some very special comics that I am willing to part with. Hit me up to talk specifics. I have a spawn 1 that went for over 500$ rrecently and more like this
When did Spawn #1 hit $500? Maybe with the Spawn movie hype back in the days?
