I don't think the title to my auction is clear enough... it bothers me for some reason.

I would use the word "variant" in the title. That's a good search keyword.

Maybe something like . . . "Dark Horse FCBD C2E2 + reg, Solar 1 SDCC variant, poster"

Does that fit?

It there a list or headcount here on members who have multiple copies of the variants here on the forums?

Wanted to know if the total forum count crosses over 100 copies here.

I got 5 copies for me.

Lowered the BIN to $69.95 and still not even one "best offer"...

*sigh*

Stuff like this seems to run in streaks. I'd consider using a 30 day listing for the same price if this doesn't sell and you relist it. :thumb:

30-day listing? I only see a 10-day option (for 40 cents more - three extra days cost more than the regular listing, WTF??!!?) when I list auctions or BINs.

I did do a 10-day auction on my FCBD mags/Solar book, but that's had no luck yet either. If the C2E2 variant "set" doesn't sell this time around, I'll do some changes and re-list it once, but I'm sorta running out of time - I am moving up to NYC before October and want to be rid of much stuff as I can.

Ya know, maybe that 30 day listing is for sellers with stores only. Sorry about that.
Good luck on your move.

Here's one man's opinion and observations on prices on this book.
Over the last couple months, this book has sold on eBay in a range of 5-25.00 per copy, and I expect that will remain the trading range for the near future. Copies listed on eBay in auction style format have realized around 5-10.00 ea. However, due to the low print run of this variant, and probably due to the likelihood that a high percentage of the 1,000 copies printed are in collections, there are stretches of a month or two when no copies are listed on eBay auction style format. During those stretches of time, the book moves at 20-25.00 on buy-it-now format.
I believe this book has easily the lowest print run of any book Shooter has written that feature Gold Key characters, and as such it's my personal opinion that respect for it, and hence prices on it, will climb in the future.

Not to mention that it was the first comic produced from the Dark Horse line,
came out in advance of the FCBD common edition, and represented "what might have been"
in terms of Jim Shooter being back in charge of the Gold Key 3.

It also has a freaking awesome cover... which usually works very well for longterm collectibility.
